Political Polarization: The Dilemma Of Truth, Lies And Silence

-

President Joseph Biden delivered a political announcement on Jan. 5, 2024, confirming that he is attempting to run for a second term as president and highlighting why he believes should not be reelected in 2024. Biden's speech was charged with emotion and conviction as the words he spoke most likely came directly from a staff member reading them to him through the earpiece that he was wearing; the speech focused primarily on the negatives of Trump's tenure and did not emphasize the positives of the over the past three years. Additionally, his reference to democracy and his comparison of Trump to Hitler was undoubtedly a bunch of bulls**t because we've watched the Biden administration steal our rights over the last three years with their manipulative ways to circumvent through executive orders and seemingly overlook the nuances of the political system. First and foremost, it's essential to recognize that political speeches are often crafted to convey a specific message and cater to a particular audience. President Biden's speech was no exception, aimed at mobilizing his base and persuading undecided voters. Consequently, it is not uncommon for such speeches to focus on contrasting the incumbent with their predecessor rather than touting their accomplishments. Biden's speech was one-sided, primarily attacking Trump without highlighting the achievements of his administration.

Biden's view of January 6th about Trump causing a social insurrection is more hyperbole; it is a common strategy to scare Americans into believing that Trump will diminish rather than restore the rights Biden has already taken. Trump will also immediately close the southern border.

Biden used George Washington to symbolize democracy. However, some Democrats have criticized the Founding Fathers for their involvement in slavery. Now Biden plays true to his nature, practically characterizing himself as our first president, Washington, instead of Benedict Arnold. Washington and other founders played a significant role in shaping the nation's democratic principles. The American heritage, despite the flaws of some of the Founding Fathers, that the Biden administration has been trying to wipe away by influencing our system for years and pushing America toward socialism.

The United States is a democratic republic, emphasizing both the democratic principles and the importance of a system of government that includes checks and balances. Biden's speech reflected the current state of political discourse, where both sides often resort to exaggeration to make their points. Biden's embellishment is designed to scare the 80+ million who voted for him in 2020 into believing that the MAGA (Make America Great Again) 76 million are a threat to America and insurrectionists who will take down our government if Trump doesn't win. Total absurdity!

Americans who vote in the 2024 elections will decide the fate of their country for the next four years – hopefully not forever – because if the Democrats win, 2024 could be the last election ever held in America. There would be an 81-year-old demented puppet in the office waiting for his strings to be pulled, his words to be fed and our country run by a multitude of Svengalis from behind the scenes, leading us down a far worse road than communism. Biden's January 5th speech will have been forgotten; our will be changed and then dismembered. The rule of law is gone.

You, the American people, are the only saviors! Make your move! Consider who you vote for in every seat, position and written piece you see in the voting booth, or this could be your last chance to keep the United States United! Heated rhetoric means that freedom still lives. Silence is not golden; it signifies the death of liberty.
