ANALYSIS – Joe Biden’s border disaster is only getting worse as we are now seeing a record number of illegal aliens labeled as “special interest migrants” for potential national security risks crossing into the United States.
According to internal Customs and Border Protection (CBP) data reported by the Daily Caller News Foundation, the number of encounters has increased by nearly 600% to 25,627 in fiscal year 2022. In the previous fiscal year, 2021, the number was only 3,675.
The majority of these encounters were at the southern border, with the highest number in El Paso, Texas.
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) defines a “special interest” migrant as a non-U.S. citizen who frequently travels in areas designated as national security concerns due to terrorist activity or other types of “nefarious activity.”
A 2019 DHS fact sheet notes that “special interest aliens” can include individuals who “possibly have a nexus to terrorism.” They are now called “special interest migrants.”
Meanwhile, the CPB has encountered 78 illegal migrants specifically on the terror watchlist at the southern border between October 2021 and August 2022.
However, unlike those on the terror watchlist, under Biden’s policies, if CBP can’t identify specific derogatory information on “special interest” illegal migrants, they are generally released into the country with little or no follow-up.
As the Daily Caller reports, former Border Patrol Chief Rodney Scott said:
Unless when they run the record checks on that individual person flagged for some type of derogatory information, they’re going to be processed just like any other illegal alien. It basically means that they’re going to be processed, set up for a hearing in the future and released into the United States. We overly rely on the United States to have current and valid information […] people that are global database, and that does not exist.
How did Biden create this border crisis and dangerous national security threat? The Daily Caller explains:
The Biden administration has implemented a number of policies that have allowed many illegal migrants to stay in the country. In August, it ended the Migrant Protection Protocols, which forced certain illegal migrants to await asylum proceedings in Mexico.
On the president’s first day in office, DHS issued a memorandum putting in place a 100-day moratorium on deportations. The notice also limited immigration enforcement to those who pose risks to national security, border security and public safety.
And where are most of the special interest migrants coming from? The Daily Caller continues:
Most of the “special interest” illegal migrants were from Turkey, which made up 60% of the grouping, with 15,376 encountered. Border Patrol also encountered 3,246 illegal migrants from Uzbekistan and 2,446 from Bangladesh.
Turkey, for example, is a “source and transit country” for Islamic State terrorists and other terrorists operating in Syria and Iraq, according to the State Department.
Former Border Patrol Chief Scott added: “Unfortunately, all the current administration wants to focus on [are] economic migrants and trying to say that they have a kinder, gentler migration policy, but they’re putting the entire Nation at Risk, as well as the millions of migrants that are handed to the cartels to be trafficked across the border.”
The national security threat posed by Biden’s reckless and dangerous border policies is growing daily. It must be reversed as soon as possible. ALD

Everything is going as planned. The democrats have been trying to bring down the USA for a very long time and now, they are succeeding with a little help from their friends. Our country was great while it lasted but now it belongs to the democrats who are giving it away (or did they sell it?) to the foreign invaders.
Perhaps already, but surely soon, foreign enemies like the CCP will use these invaders to carry weaponized diseases into the US. The cartels could use known clear routes to move in man-pack nukes to then extort the US.
These reasons are why the lax border enforcement is a National Security issue, aside from the destruction of precious natural resources and environments, and the unsustainability of absorbing millions of invaders into the economy, the vast majority of whom have no skills and do not intend to work or contribute, only parasitically drain our blood and treasure.

For example Laconia, NH groups have been working for many years to “help” bring immigrants to the city. Please “help” them ! 5 bus loads per month will help. I bet that there are many females that wouldn’t mind a few rapes or murders, as long as it meant they could get more government money & keep Trump out of office !

The government was working on that prior to Biden. Then Biden was informed on what to say and do that allows the illegal invasion to actually increase greatly. It’s highly likely that it won’t be many more years for those that came here will be the majority and will likely control our government, and all because the democrats allowed, even encouraged, it to happen. What a sad ending for this once great nation. It makes me glad that I’m over 90 and hopefully will not be around to see the destruction of our country.
