Because her record on the border issue was so abysmal, the MSM is rewriting history to ensure that the migrant problem does not become “her fault' on the election trail.
Remember when she became “Border Czar”? We do. But now we're misremembering according to the spokespeople on the left.

Elon asks a good question. She only visited once, and was 800 miles from the action. She visited the Border Patrol facility in El Paso which is safe, secure, and sanitized. The real action is 800 miles away in the Rio Grande Valley.

I live in El Paso and remember the “visit” well. Before the arrival of the Vice President our Democrat controlled city cleaned up the streets, ushered the hoard of illegal immigrants out of sight and gave the “Border Czar” a photo-op with “Senior Border Patrol and Customs” officials. They did everything possible to whitewash the problem to appear less active than reality. Today we have illegal immigrants from around the world in luxury hotels across the US and disabled veterans on the street. With the documented catch and release, got aways and “unaccompanied minors” the Border Czar has allowed over 12 million illegal immigrants in including criminals, mentally unstable and terrorists, enabled a constant flow of narcotics into the U.S. including Chinese Fentanyl and a constant flow of cash and weapons going to the cartels in Mexico, human trafficking, sex trafficking and rape of young women and girls by the coyote smugglers and finding dead bodies on remote pieces of Texas ranches is more common than most would believe, not counting those who drowned in the river or left to die in the back of cargo trucks. Her verbal gaffs are not much better than President Biden’s but at least he has the excuse of mental cognitive decline.
