Victory Or Defeat In November Comes Down To Visual Communication

-

Republicans have a unique opportunity in November to win the White House and control of . Along with a conservative Supreme Court majority, it would be the first time since the Hoover administration that Democrats do not control one branch of government.  Yet Republicans could yet snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

How can this happen? By not communicating effectively with the voters. Poll after poll shows Americans disapprove of Democratic policies on , national defense, immigration, the and the list goes on. Yet Democrats are winning the communication war with voters. They have been doing so with a few exceptions since 1960.

So, what should Republicans do?

They should take a page out of the 1980 Republican playbook. In 1980, Republicans had not held control of any chamber of Congress since 1954 during the Eisenhower administration. Hoping to reverse this, the Republican National Committee ran a series of ads with an actor who resembled Democratic House Speaker Tip O'Neil driving a car on empty despite warnings of being out of gas, symbolizing that Democrats were out of ideas and gas.

Today, the Democrats under resemble the 1980s Democrats as they are out of fresh ideas and out of touch with middle America.  They are subscribing to an elite agenda that puts America last. Yet Republicans are failing to capitalize on this.

On immigration, Joe Biden himself along with members of “The Squad” gave Republican ad makers all they need for commercials with the tragic Laken Riley murder by an illegal alien who entered the country due to Joe Biden's and the Democrats' open border policies. Republicans do not even need an actor to play Biden, they can use him in interviews apologizing for using the term illegal alien to describe the murderer but failing to apologize to the Riley family. Republicans can run ads displaying the growing number of innocent lives snuffed out by illegal aliens with Biden and members of “The Squad” speaking that it was dehumanizing to use the word illegal alien to describe the murderer. Over 72% of Americans think it's OK to use the term illegal alien according to a Harvard/Harris poll.

On education, poll after poll show that Americans feel that children are not being properly educated. They are alarmed at the emphasis put on wokeness and transitioning students.  They no longer trust their public school systems. Republicans should film what a typical school day is like; showing the emphasis that is put on polarization and sexual identity of students by teachers. They should run ads with the most extreme statements of these teachers including the idea that parents should have no say in their child's upbringing.

On the economy, it isn't just enough to ask if you are better off now than you were four years ago, Republicans need to visualize this for voters. They need to show the items and prices of a week's worth of groceries and the same items and prices from 4 years ago. They need to show today's gas prices versus those four years ago.

Americans worry that the nation is in decline and our enemies are making massive strides. They have no confidence in Biden or the Democrats on national security.  The Democrats never recovered from the disaster in Afghanistan. From the moment of that botched withdrawal, voters never again trusted Biden's leadership. Republicans need to run videos of the disaster in Afghanistan along with Biden saying he didn't do anything wrong.

Just telling voters why they should vote Republican will not carry the day. Visuals that communicate the disaster that the Democrats are bringing upon our nation will do so.  Voters need to see as much hear why they should vote Republican.

Republicans are on the cusp of a historic majority. They may win more of the working class African American vote than anytime since the 1950s. The Hispanic vote is moving Republican. Consolidate this with the existing Republican vote and Democrats are locked out of power. But it all depends on skillful communicating which so far has been lacking.
