Rapper Lul Tim (born Timothy Leeks), who recently had murder charges against him dropped, may have landed himself in hot water with a cryptic response during a YouTube-style dating game. Participating in a “20-1 girls vs. boys” show, where 20 women competed for his attention, Tim faced a controversial moment when a female contestant asked him about his “body count.”
In casual slang, “body count” typically refers to the number of people someone has had sexual relations with. However, when the contestant asked, “How many bodies you got?” Tim's response left viewers questioning his interpretation of the term. Smirking and pointing to his wallet chain, he alluded to counting “these right here,” purportedly referring to the number of victims rather than romantic partners.
After a few awkward seconds, the contestant clarified she was asking about sexual partners. Tim then backtracked, claiming he knew what she meant from the start. Despite the uncomfortable exchange, he doubled down on his answer, suggesting the number of “links” on his chain, which the contestant counted as nine.

The vague and troubling response left viewers speculating about Tim's intentions, though the bachelorette appeared impressed by his answers. The moment has since sparked debate online, with some wondering if his comments could have legal implications given his past.
In August 2023, Tim had his murder charges related to the death of Chicago rapper, and gangster, King Von (real name Dayvon Daquan Bennett) unexpectedly dropped. His attorney, Noah Pines, released a statement revealing that all charges against Leeks were dismissed before the case even reached an indictment. This development meant that Tim would not face trial for the murder of King Von, clearing him of the legal battle he had been fighting since the November 2020 shooting outside an Atlanta nightclub.
Despite the dismissal, Tim was neither found innocent nor was there a definitive “not guilty” verdict. The dismissal simply indicates that the charges were dropped without moving forward to a trial or formal indictment. The lack of other suspects at the time of dismissal has raised questions about the future direction of the investigation.
Tim has since seemingly referenced this legal victory in his music, particularly in his song “Left a Stain.” However, the legal conclusion does not equate to an exoneration or a finding of innocence in a court of law; it simply indicates that the prosecution decided not to pursue the charges further.
The case remains significant in hip-hop circles, as the shooting of King Von was a major event in the music industry.
