FBI Revoked Clearance For TrumpĀ Support, Gun Rights And Vaccine Views

-

ANALYSIS ā€“ Outrageous secret ā€“ the left-wing politicization of the Federal Bureau of Investigation () under Joe is the new McCarthyism.

Agents from the overzealous, and seemingly partisan, “Security Division”Ā of the FBIĀ asked at least one colleague questions in an official capacity about his support forĀ former President , support for the SecondĀ AmendmentĀ and his views on the COVID-19 vaccine.

This, according to a complaint to the (DOJ) Inspector General (IG) by whistleblower advocacy group who is asking for an investigation.

In that case, the advocacy group noted thatĀ the 12-year employee of the bureau was receiving his regular top-secret security clearance review when he was asked theseĀ highly inappropriate questions. Investigators also interviewed at least three witnesses to determine if the colleague had been known to ā€œvocalize support for President Trumpā€ or ā€œvocalize objections to Covid-19 vaccination.ā€ (RELATED: FBI Fed Info To Congressional Dems On Whistleblowers Ahead Of Hearing On Political Weaponization Of FBI)

Sources claim that the FBI gathered information on other employees' political views, suggesting the practice was not isolated to this one employee who admitted attending the January 6, 2021, pro-Trump rally. He never entered the Capitol.

Based on the available evidence, this security review process provides clear evidence of political bias against conservatives inside the bureau.

As Just the News reported:

The agents also asked witnesses whether the FBI worker had ā€œattended the Richmond Lobby Day eventā€ in January 2021, a rally for supporters of the Second Amendment in . The agents' notes referred to the colleague they were vetting as a ā€œgun nutā€ but who in engaged in ā€œno promotion of violence.ā€

FBI officials declined comment about why a worker's support for Trump and the Second Amendment or his hesitancy to get the COVID-19 vaccine had relevance to his security clearance.

They also declined to answer whether similar questions about support for or other medical issues, such as a woman's support for .

In a letter to the DOJ inspector general, the FBI employee's lawyer, Tristan Leavitt, [who runs the nonprofit Empower Oversight center specializing in whistleblower cases] revealed his client made protected whistleblower disclosures to both Congress and the DOJ about the politicization of the security clearance process, which he alleged he was put through simply because he self-reported having taken a vacation day to go to Washington D.C. for the Jan. 6, 2021 rally.

Uncovered memosĀ from the investigating agentsĀ provide significant insights into what the agents believed were relevant to whether the FBI employee should keep his clearance.

The employee ā€œhad right wing views, nothing extreme,ā€ one agent noted about his colleague's Trump support. Elsewhere, agents wrote the employee was ā€œdef Trump supporter, strong republican values.ā€

In another set of notes the agent again noted the worker's support for Trump, writing: ā€œVery significantly supported, would listen to talk shows. Trump did not lose. Dems stole it. Militant point of view. Never implied would do anything aggressive/physical.”

On vaccine hesitancy, agents noted that the employee was: ā€œVery against masks and vaccines. Not vaccinated,ā€ adding ā€œtried not to wear mask.ā€

Regarding the employee's Second Amendment views, agents described the witnesses' answers as: ā€œGun nut, went to all 2nd Amendment gatherings,ā€ while adding: ā€œā€¦No promotion of violence.ā€ (RELATED: Biden FBI Now Under Investigation For Woke DEI Hiring Scheme)

The FBI employee's security clearance was revoked a few months after the interviews were conducted, and agents had confirmed his support for Trump, and his declining the experimental COVID vaccine.

In his letter to DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz, Leavitt wrote:

Instead of limiting its investigation to legitimate issues, SecD (Security Division) acted as if support for President Trump, objecting to COVID-19 vaccinations, or lawfully attending a protest was the equivalent of being a member of Al Qaeda or the Chinese Communist Party.

An IG investigation shouldĀ determineĀ how widespread this politicized security review process is, and Congress must take immediate steps to put an end to it.
