Gen. Milley Still Doesn’t Know What Woke Means, But Insists Military Isn’t

-

MONDAY – Milley says military is not woke: ‘I'm not even sure what that word truly means.' Army Gen. Mark Milley pushed back on claims from Republicans that the military is “woke” and, as a result, not prepared to take on modern threats.

“This military is a lot of things, but woke, it's not. So, I take exception to that. I think that people say those things for…their own reasons, but it's not true. It's not accurate,” Milley continued. “It's not a broad-brush description of the U.S. military as it exists today.”

However, presidential candidate and Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) argued that the military is being ordered around by a civilian “political ideology” and is “being infected by the woke mind virus.”

“This is changing the character of the military, it's changing the culture of our services, and it's creating a situation in which great warriors have been driven away and recruiting is at an all-time low,” he said in July.

FYI GEN. MILLEY – ‘WOKE' IS A SERIES OF LEFTIST POLICIES RANGING FROM IMPOSING CRITICAL RACE THEORY (CRT) TO A RADICAL LGBT AGENDA TO TAXPAYER-FUNDED ABORTIONS.

  1. Miley is a Moron. He should be knocked down to private. He does not serve the U.S as evidenced by the Afgan exit of unprotected citizens.

    • Seems to me military intelligence would necessitate that a person in a key role, as indicated herein, should have been properly briefed as to current utilized terminology when such language has become part and parcel of our everyday communications and frequently and widely referenced in political and social transmissions.

  2. Biden, Austin and Milley are still trying to find lower ranking service members to blame for the chaos of the Afghan withdrawal. Gen Milley was wiling to undercut Trump by calling his Chinese counterparts directly. But, weasel that he is,
Milley did not have the guts to lay his stars on the line as Biden ordered the midnight cut and run from Bagram, or as Biden let the Afghan situation spiral put of control.
In late July 2022, I almost fell out of my chair when I read a small paragraph in the local paper. At the Pentagon, Sec Def Austin and Gen Milley quietly announced they had completed “an intense, exhaustive, thorough investigation” that began in Sept of 2021.  They had been investigating the Air Force Crews that operated out of Kabul in chaos of the withdrawal. They decided there was “insufficient evidence” to charge the crews with negligent homicide, or manslaughter for the deaths of the Afghans who fell from the landing gear of their planes. Obviously, Biden, Austin and Milley hoped to sacrifice the crews to distract from the role they themselves played in the disaster.   Now they say they will interview more service members who were at the airport. 1SG, USA, Ret.
