ANALYSIS – Who is next? Even Democrats believe the members of the so-called Squad of far-left congresspersons are too radical. What about Harris and Walz?
Their extreme views on a multitude of issues, as well as blatant antisemitism, has made them a target of Democrat ire, including powerful Jewish groups like the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC).
And they are being taken down one by one, by fellow Democrats.
Kamala Harris and Tim Walz should see the danger of their own equally extreme views. If these two were in Congress, they would be part of the Squad as well.
The Squad core consisted of Cori Bush of Missouri, Jamaal Bowman and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, both from New York, Ilhan Omar of Minnesota, Ayanna Pressley of Massachusetts and Rashida Tlaib of Michigan.
Two additional representatives, Greg Cesar of Texas and Summer Lee of Pennsylvania, are sometimes associated with the group.
I say “consisted,” past tense, because as of today Aug. 9, the Squad has lost two of its members in Democratic primary races.
Bush, the latest Squad casualty, was just defeated for her bid for a third term by St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney Wesley Bell. He beat her by a whopping six points.
The unhinged radical was one of the first Congress members to call for a ceasefire following Israel's response to the Oct. 7 attacks by Hamas, which she termed an “ethnic cleansing campaign.”
“We can't be silent about Israel's ethnic cleansing campaign,” she tweeted last fall. “Babies, dead. Pregnant women, dead. Elderly, dead. Generations of families, dead.”
“Millions of people in Gaza with nowhere to go being slaughtered,” she added. “The U.S. must stop funding these atrocities against Palestinians.”
AIPAC, the powerful pro-Israeli lobbying group, spent around $8.5 million to unseat Bush due to her outspoken antisemitism, pro-Hamas comments and criticism of Israel's war in Gaza.
But her extreme views on defunding the police, probably didn't help her either. As per her comments below show.
Bush's political demise follows that of Bowman who was defeated in his primary by George Latimer in June. AIPAC's Super PAC, United Democracy Project, funneled $15 million into the race to defeat him.
Semi tongue-in-cheek, Clay Travis, founder of OutKick, posted, “Congresswoman Cori Bush becomes the second squad member to lose a primary this election cycle. She and Jamaal Bowman are free to join Hamas together.”
Ensuring that everyone would know how crazy she is, Bush launched into a fiery tirade against AIPAC, during her concession speech, warning:
All they did was radicalize me, so now they need to be afraid. They about to see this other Cori, this other side… AIPAC, I'm coming to tear your kingdom down.
Even White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre criticized Bush's unhinged remarks, labeling them “inflammatory and divisive.”
Meanwhile, here's hoping that this is part of a wave of radicals being defeated in Congress, even if it's by fellow Democrats. Let the counterattack continue until this entire Squad is decimated.
First Jamaal Bowman, now Cori. Next up: Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar. And then the rest.

I have always considered the Congress “Squad” as the Mafia Squad because they act like the Mafia. The get into Congress on the bottom step of the corporate ladder and immediately raise themselves up to the top and higher level of Congress. Traitors – all of them!

The Left Wing hijacked the Democratic Party. They have shown they are pro-criminal by advocating defunding Police; by releasing even dangerous criminals with little or no bail; by importing MILLIONS of mostly single males from the countries with the highest rates of gun homicides in the world (and curiously, the lowest rate of gun ownership as well!); by hiring people like Dyjuan Tatro, a career drug-traffickers, slasher, suspected murderer in several homicides (witnesses too terrified to testify against him) as a “Senior Advisor” to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee; Chuck Rocha, convicted felon, to advise Ruben Gallego (D-Arizona) and his Senatorial Campaign; and of course, George Soros, convicted Felon, and persona non-grata in many countries around the world, including Israel, as the Democratic Party’s financial and philosophical guru. All the while their Public Fora allies exercise censorship; their news media suppress news items adverse to the Democratic Party; their party wants to disarm all Americans while letting criminals run free. It’s not madness, it’s an agenda designed to deliver total 1 party supremacy to the Democratic Party.
