Although Kamala Harris has been proclaimed the winner of her first presidential debate with , it appears that after the debate, even with both moderators being accused of joining on her behalf, Trump made strides with independent voters.

Breitbart News reports:

Although pundits declared Vice President Kamala Harris the clear winner of Tuesday night's debate, former President Trump won six of ten undecided voters in a Reuters focus group. Harris only won three. A New York Times survey of undecideds had similar results.Some political pundits predicted the debate.

WEDNESDAY – So much for Obama-Biden nuclear disarmament – Joe Biden approved secret nuclear strategy refocusing on Chinese threat. The highly classified nuclear strategic plan, for the first time, reorients America's deterrent strategy to focus on China's rapid expansion in its nuclear arsenal.

The shift comes as the Pentagon believes China's stockpiles will rival the size and diversity of the U.S. and Russia over the next decade.

MEANWHILE, WE ARE ALSO HOPING WE CAN DETER CHINA CONVENTIONALLY.

The Pentagon is planning a drone ‘Hellscape' to defend Taiwan. China will likely launch a full-scale invasion of Taiwan within the next few years. And when that happens, the US military has a relatively straightforward response in mind: Unleash hell.

REFORPAC: The new Indo-Pacific exercise debuting in 2025. The Air Force will flood airmen and aircraft into the Indo-Pacific next summer for a major two-week exercise that will coincide with the multinational Talisman Sabre training event.

Air Force preparing to buy new long-endurance drones for Task Force 99 in Middle East. The unit performs intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance activities and experiments with cutting-edge technologies.

US amphibious flattop stops in Japan amid long-delayed deployment. The amphibious assault ship USS Boxer steamed into Tokyo Bay over the weekend for a stop on its first deployment in five years.

ISRAEL'S WAR AGAINST TERROR

IRAN THREAT

Iranian military official hints strike on Israel may be delayed. An Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps leader suggested that a widely feared regional conflict might be averted, at least for the moment.

CHINA THREAT

Let the Marine Corps test force design in the grey zone. It has been five years since the Marines divested some of what many considered to be key warfighting capabilities to buy anti-ship missiles with which to deny China control of the South China Sea (SCS) in favor of a new approach to operations designed around island-hopping.

India and Japan hold talks on Indo-Pacific security as they eye China's aggressive activity in the region.

RUSSIA THREAT – UKRAINE WAR

How a general's blunder left Russia's border vulnerable. Earlier this year, Moscow's new military appointee overseeing security in the Kursk province dismantled a council tasked with protecting the vulnerable border region. He said the military alone had the strength and the resources to protect Russia's border.

Ukraine pushes for long-range strikes as troops advance in Russia. The Ukrainian advance into Russia's Kursk region has put renewed pressure on the U.S. to lift a policy that restricts Kyiv from using American-made weapons to strike deep into Russian territory.

Some Ukraine NATO allies are failing to follow through on air-defense pledges. They are also falling short on pledges to accelerate deliveries of other military equipment to fend off Russia's offensive.

Germany affirms Ukraine military aid. Amid murmurings in Berlin that the country may curtail its military support for Ukraine, the government on Monday confirmed a long list of scheduled deliveries for Kyiv, including dozens of armored vehicles, rocket launchers and tens of thousands of rounds of ammunition.

Moscow comes under one of the largest Ukrainian drone attacks since the start of fighting in 2022 but destroys them all.

INTERNATIONAL SECURITY

Libya's instability will worsen further without a unified government and elections, UN envoy says. The oil-rich north African country has deteriorated “quite rapidly” over the past two months.

From the Great White North to the South China Sea: 10 days on patrol aboard Royal Canadian Navy frigate HMCS Montréal.  A 10,000-ton China Coast Guard ship sailed past the Royal Canadian Navy frigate.

Construction underway on $1 billion NATO base in Lithuania to house German brigade. The new base is near Lithuania's border with Russian ally Belarus that is set to house thousands of German troops when it's completed in 2027.

US MILITARY

Pentagon watchdog to review JLOTS system used for Gaza aid pier. Just weeks after the U.S. military dismantled its aid pier off the Gaza Strip, ending its mission there, the Pentagon's internal watchdog has launched an investigation into the capability used to build the pier.

Marine Corps lays out plan for Harrier crews as stalwart aircraft flies into sunset. Earlier this year, AV-8Bs were flying around the eastern Mediterranean on a deterrence mission amid the Israel war. The aircraft was proving its worth once again, as it has for more than 40 years.

Army activates Arctic Aviation Command for extreme cold flying. Pentagon reveals 5 more funded RDER projects, including a top Marine priority. The Rapid Defense Experimentation Reserve has successfully transitioned at least seven technology projects to the services so far, from high-altitude balloons to underwater communications.

Air Force families must be prepared for 9/11-like events amid shift to potential Pacific conflict, service chief says.
