Hunter Biden Takes IRS To Court Over Tax Information Disclosures

-

has filed a lawsuit against the .

Attorneys for President Biden's troubled son filed the suit, alleging agents tried to “target” and “embarrass” him.

As Fox News reports:

Biden's Monday morning filing cites two major examples in IRS agents  and , two whistleblowers who claimed the IRS mishandled aspects of its investigation into Biden.

Biden's lawsuit seeks for the court to declare that the IRS “willfully, knowingly, and/or by gross negligence, unlawfully disclosed Mr. Biden's confidential tax information.”

In addition, Biden is demanding $1,000 in damages for “each and every unauthorized disclosure of his tax returns,” including disclosures that happened after the fact. Fox News Digital reached out to the IRS for comment on the lawsuit, but they did not immediately respond.

“Biden is the son of the President of the United States. He has all the same responsibilities as any other American citizen, and the IRS can and should make certain that he abides by those responsibilities,” the lawsuit said. “Similarly, Mr. Biden has no fewer or lesser rights than any other American citizen, and no agency or government agent has free rein to violate his rights simply because of who he is.”

The complaint adds that “the IRS and its agents have conducted themselves under a presumption that the rights that apply to every other American citizen do not apply to Mr. Biden.”

  1. But yet he failed to properly file his taxes now wants to sue the IRS . Must be nice to be as big a moron as your old man Hunter .

  2. Good job Hunted,
Subpoenaed records from investigations doubtfully a legitimate cause of retaliatory lawsuits!!

  3. #1 – The most significant disclosures had NOTHING to do with what was in his tax returns. It was what was NOT in his tax returns—specifically a large amount of unreported income.

#2 – Most of the rest of the disclosures were whistleblower statements on how the IRS gave him preferential treatment and did not investigate and prosecute him per the law and long established internal IRS policies and practices.

BTW, 5-6 years later, why hasn’t Hunter been forced to pay the taxes the IRS says he owes?

  4. Who does this crackhead think he is? U didn’t pay taxes on $2 million, u and daddy think your getting the bad end of the deal.Just wait pal,u haven’t seen anything yet,u just burned your crooked old man.lol more to come folks.

  5. hasn’t the left been lecturing us for years that there is no such thing as an ‘expectation of privacy’? especially for ‘public figures’?

didn’t lois lerner ‘normalize’ the weaponization of the irs? and per fire code regs, doors in public buildings must swing in both directions. . .
