NYC Mayor Says Illegal Migrants Bringing Rampant Crime To US Cities

-

ANALYSIS – I recently wrote about how 's illegal migrant invasion has apparently brought a scourge of previously eradicated contagious diseases to America's shores. Ugly things like polio and leprosy long ago were eliminated from our country.

This, due to the fact that, at least according to one City (NYC) health official, 50% of migrants to the U.S. aren't properly vaccinated.

That is the one topic most liberals don't want to talk about. According to the left, only right-wing fascists would even mention that possibility.

Well, I mentioned it, and documented it. And now I'm noting the second illegal migrant taboo topic – .

And it's not just me, or some city officials, it's the Democrat mayor of who is warning us.

He recently said the wave of unemployed, hungry, illegal migrants flooding the city are creating a “devil's workshop” that will only lead to rising crime.

The Daily Caller reported:

“When I talk about the devastation impact that the migrant and asylum seekers, people only think about the volume of people that are coming in. There are byproducts to this, cuts to services, like we had to postpone a police class, looking at some of the budgetary cuts, having a body of people, many young, who can't work,” Adams said.

“I mean you don't even need an imagination to figure out that if you have someone four, five months, and say ‘you cannot work, you cannot feed your family, you cannot provide for yourself,' what happens? You know, lack of opportunities, an idle mind is the devil's workshop, as they say,” Adams said.

The outlet added:

In September, Adams said there would be a 5% budget cut across city programs and services amid the influx of migrants. As migrants continue arriving to the city, Adams suspects there will be more visible effects of the crisis.

“There are a lot of things that are feeding off of the migrant policy that, as I said a few months ago, we're going to start seeing the physical aspects of this crisis. We've done a good job of keeping that physical aspect away from New Yorkers, but the dam has burst,” Adams said.

This brings us to a third underreported consequence of the migrant crisis. Its impact on local services and police and social service budgets overwhelmed by the flood of illegals. Mayor Adams has said that the migrant crisis in NYC alone is projected to cost $11 billion over the next two years.

That's $11 BILLION not used for American citizens' services and safety.

In November, National Review (NR) reported more on the drastic budget cuts being implemented in the Big Apple due to the surge of illegal migrants:

Effective immediately, the New York Police Department must freeze hiring and bring officer numbers from over 33,000 to below 30,000, for the first time since the 1980s. The budget also proposed $1 billion cuts for , including summer school programs and universal kindergarten. Adams said on Thursday that without federal funding to manage the city's billion-dollar migrant crisis, more cuts may come.

“No city should be left to handle a national humanitarian crisis largely on its own, and without the significant and timely support we need from Washington, D.C., today's budget will be only the beginning,” he said.

Meanwhile, NR added:

Antisemitic hate crimes are up 200 percent since last year following 's October 7 attack on . The NYPD said last week that it had diverted resources to synagogues, houses of worship, and Jewish communities to “ensure that they are safe and that our city remains a place of peace.” NYC's police union president, Patrick Hendry, said that the city's budget cuts will hinder the force's ability to keep citizens safe.

“This is truly a disaster for every New Yorker who cares about safe streets,” Hendry said. “Cops are already stretched to our breaking point, and these cuts will return us to staffing levels we haven't seen since the crime epidemic of the '80s and '90s. We cannot go back there.”
