Ron Paul Reveals Precise Date Americans ‘Lost’ Their Government

-

interviewed on the latest episode of his internet talk show. The former Texas congressman was there to discuss a moment he believes changed America forever – and for the worse.

Paul revealed a specific date he argues marked a point of no return in countering the leviathan of the .

“The date I saw it was concrete that there was a coup, and we lost our government was on November 22,” Paul said, referring to the November 22, 1963 assassination of President John F. Kennedy in Dallas by Lee Harvey Oswald.

Both Paul and Carlson believe the CIA orchestrated Kennedy's assassination, though there is no hard evidence to support this claim.

Flabbergasted at the notion the Johnson administration would appoint former CIA Director Allen Dulles to the Warren Commission, Paul recalled to Carlson: “That's when it dawned on me, the Republic is gone! It was eroding from the beginning of the last century from the philosophic changes, but I think – what about that former CIA agent who said, “We were taught to lie, cheat and steal!” And he giggled! And the crowd clapped, and he was making fun of it.”

“It does make you wonder if people want to be free,” Carlson reflected.

When asked who the deep state is, Paul acknowledged that he didn't have a list of names but offered a psychological profile of the kinds of people in such positions:

I think it is people who have tremendous power, and they happen to hate liberty, and they happen to be people who because of their wealth… they become nihilists, they don't believe in truth, truth is impossible to reach. There is a whole philosophy about nihilism where they can't reach truth so they reject it, but everybody wants something to believe in, so they believe in themselves, these people who have a lot of influence…

“I tell people you're not going to get 12, 24, or even 100 new members of . The system is embedded with bankruptcy and corruption that that's not going to work, but I'm still an optimist,” Paul added.
