The man leading the campaign to expose the infestation of antisemitism at college campuses across the nation has become the victim of a potentially life-threatening crime once again.
Accuracy in Media (AIM) President Adam Guillette became the victim of a second swatting incident after an unidentified perpetrator(s) called police under false pretenses.
This time, the local police department assumed the call was fake, but officers still had to respond and check to ensure there wasn't a threat. (RELATED: Conservative Leader Behind Campaign To Expose Antisemitism Responds To Swatting Threat)
Recent history shows the harassment tactic can easily take a deadly turn. In 2017, a Wichita SWAT team showed up with guns drawn at Andrew Finch's home after an unrelated online gaming dispute led to a California man calling police after receiving a fraudulent address by a fellow gamer. Unaware that officers believed a hostage situation was unfolding, Finch fell victim to shots shortly after law enforcement arrived.
Guillette remains undeterred. AIM will be taking extraordinary security precautions as the fight continues.
It's important to say that after the terrifying incidents, we're going to be doubling down our efforts,” Guillette told American Liberty News over the phone. “This is exactly why we need to be in this fight.”
“Every American Jew needs to understand this is exactly the kind of lowlife thug we're up against.”
But the threat posed by Islamic extremists doesn't end with the Jewish community. If left unchecked, their medieval ideology represents a clear and present danger to the liberal values cherished by Western culture.
Every American needs to understand that this fight doesn't end with Judaism. This is a fight between Western civilization and Islamists,” Guillette continued.
Meanwhile, the fight to expose antisemitism at home continues.
Accuracy in Media will expand its mobile billboard campaign to multiple East Coast universities this week.
