Libs of TikTok, one of the most popular right-wing social media accounts, has been suspended from Facebook.
Chaya Raichik, the woman behind the account, said Facebook suspended her page for violating community standards.
“The page Libs of TikTok has been disabled for going against our Community Standards,” Facebook stated in a message to Raichik, according to a screenshot posted to X.
“You cannot visit the Page and you won't be able to add new people to work on the Page,” Facebook added.
The account is widely popular across social media platforms, having amassed 2.7 million followers on X and millions more on Facebook, YouTube and Instagram.
It has also made Raichik a right-wing celebrity, as Mediaite notes:
Raichik has become a star in conservative media and rubbed elbows with leading Republican figures, including former President Donald Trump and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis.
Before Elon Musk purchased X last year, the account had been suspended by the company several times for alleged hateful conduct. Moreover, Facebook also banned Libs of TikTok last year after threats were made to employee's at the Boston Children's Hospital after Raichik made a post claiming they were giving hysterectomies to minors.
It is unclear how long the ban on the account will last as it did not clarify if it was a permanent or temporary suspension.
