-

Has Fulton County District Attorney been caught red-handed?

Attorneys for former President believe so, having submitted a supplemental defense exhibit containing Special Prosecutor 's cell phone data, which contradicts Willis' testimony from the hearing to remove her from the Georgia election interference case.

Willis testified under oath that her relationship with Wade began after she appointed him special prosecutor. However, cell phone location records tracked Wade's phone to Willis' condo at least 35 times before Willis said their relationship began. It indicated that Wade stayed at Willis' residence as late as 4:55 a.m.

Records show about 2,000 calls and 12,000 texts between the pair during the same time period.

Trump's attorneys Steve Sadow and Jennifer Little enlisted defense investigator Charles Mittelstadt to examine Wade's cellphone records from AT&T. Mittelstadt requested the records on Feb. 9 and received them on Feb. 15, as stated in the filing.

Mittelstadt utilized CellHawk, an analytics tool regarded as the gold standard in cellphone record analysis by . The records unveiled over 2,000 voice calls and nearly 12,000 text messages exchanged between Wade and Willis over an 11-month period in 2021.

Mittelstadt, employing CellHawk, established a “very conservative geofence” near Willis' condominium in Hapeville. The analysis disclosed a minimum of 35 instances where Wade's cellphone connected for an extended period to one of the two cellphone towers closest to the Hapeville home. It also determined Wade's residence in East Cobb and when his phone pinged off the towers near his home.

Wade testified that he visited Willis in Hapeville no more than a handful of times before being appointed special prosecutor. Both Wade and Willis denied that he had ever spent the night.

When Wade was hired, his salary was reportedly hundreds of thousands of dollars higher than his fellow prosecutors.
