Controversial movie star Alec Baldwin has been sued again by the family of a Marine who died during America's withdrawal from Afghanistan last year.
Roice McCollum — sister of fallen Marine Rylee McCollum — has again sued the actor after another defamation suit filed by the family was dismissed in Wyoming because the court said it did not have jurisdiction over Baldwin, who lives in New York.
Fox News has more on the situation:
“The suit said Baldwin contacted one of McCollum's sisters, Roice, on Instagram and donated $5,000 on the family's GoFundMe page to give to his widow as a “tribute for a fallen soldier.”
Last January, Roice McCollum posted a photo to Instagram of herself attending the pro-Trump protest on Jan. 6, 2021, ahead of the U.S. Capitol riot on the same day.”
After a conversation occurred between Roice and Balwin over the photo she posted, Baldwin reposted the photo on his page.
Fox news also wrote that “after he reposted the photo on his page, which has 2.4 million followers, and accused her of being an “insurrectionist,” his “seemingly benevolent overtures turned into a nightmare” the suit said. “Roice began to get hostile, aggressive, hateful messages from Baldwin's followers.”
This new suit was filed in the Southern District of New York. It asks for $25 million in damages.

Baldwin is a murderer and needs to be prosecuted for it……
As a war veteran, and gun owner, any time someone hands you a gun, you have to make sure its safe, case closed. Since he did Not, the shooting is his fault, period.

Mr. Baldwin, there are two basic rules of gun handling. 1) never point a weapon at anything you don’t intend to shoot. 2) there is no such thing as an “unloaded” gun. All weapons are to be treated as if they’re loaded. Hope this keeps you from killing another innocent person with an “unloaded” gun.
Agreed! there is absolutely no such thing as an empty gun. I grew up with those things from the late ’20s to the early 40s when I entered the U.S. service. I never fired at anything I didn’t want to kill. As I recall, as a boy my dad told me if I want to point a gun at anyone point it at myself. That way I damn well wouldn’t pull the triggeer.
Baldwin is worse than a POS

Alec Baldwin may have been born with male genitals, but he’s FAR from being a man.
In my opinion Alec Baldwin is an unmitigated ass. When he took the single action Colt revolver during that movie if he didn’t know what to do with it he should have made it clear at the time. There’s a ritual you follow firing one. It’s very simple but if you don’t do it you could blow your big toe off. It’s a handgun Colt should be making now and really advertising because it’s so simple. Now, could it be that Baldwin made a pass at the young lady he shot and killed and she told him where to go and he just blew her away for that reason? Baldwin had been in numerous movies with firearms. Perhaps some with single action revolvers. It would be interesting how many. A lot of people in this country, for political reasons, are getting away with entirely too much and that has to stop. Break the law, break the rules and – PAY THE PRICE NO MATTER WHO ONE MIGHT BE.
One more very important thig no matter who the person is or where it’s happening. If someone hands you a firearm of ANY KIND, if you don’t understand ANYTHING ABOUT IT HAND IT BACK WITHOUT DOING NOTHING. If you don’t understand a weapon don’t even try to use it.
