New York Times Poll Reveals President Trump’s Lead Among Young Voters Over Joe Biden

-

A new general election poll commissioned by and has revealed more surprising numbers showcasing the Biden campaign's weakness among unexpected groups.

According to The Times, the latest hypothetical general election matchup between former President and President shows Trump leading Biden by 6-percentage points among voters aged 18 to 29.

“As recently as this summer, a poll with Donald J. Trump leading among young voters would have been eye-popping,” The Times' Nate Cohn wrote. Cohn noted Biden's 21-point advantage among 18 to 29-year-olds in the paper's final poll before last year's midterms and his 10-point lead among that age group in July of this year.

Cohn hypothesized that Biden's continued support for is responsible for his declining numbers. Concerns about the , consumer prices and affordable housing are also prevalent among young adults. Breitbart's John Nolte notes that the average monthly mortgage payment has nearly doubled since Trump's last day in office, from $1,787 to a staggering $3,322.

Nolte continues:

The Times is correct that “nearly every major survey at this point” shows Trump topping Slow Joe with young people. Still, it seems counter-intuitive to blame Biden's support for Israel for this shift. Trump is a more outspoken supporter of Israel than Biden. Maybe the thinking is that young people are not aware of Trump's affection for Israel…?

Among all registered voters, Trump tops Biden by two points, 46 to 44 percent. Back in July, this same poll showed the two likely candidates tied at 43 percent. Also of note in that same poll is the fact that Biden was beating Trump among those same young voters by ten points, 47 to 37 percent. That's a 16-point shift toward Trump among the 19-29 year olds over five months. So, when you ask yourself what could have possibly changed between July and today, you must admit that the one big event is declaring war on Israel.

Among likely voters, Biden tops Trump nationally 47 to 45 percent.

As far as the scarcity of homes, Democrats are adamantly opposed to building single-family homes. What's more, scarcity was a big problem even before Biden flooded the country with millions of illegal aliens who now compete with legal citizens and immigrants for housing.

Increasingly concerned by Biden's underwater approval ratings, the Biden campaign has begun aggressively comparing Trump's rhetoric to Mussolini and Hitler.
