Trump's list of potential vice presidential candidates reads like a Who's Who of Republican firebrands. Some of the names that are allegedly discussed include Ohio Senator J.D. Vance, former Arizona gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake and Georgia Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene.
Recently, Axios revealed a new name at the top of that list: fired cable news king Tucker Carlson. According to the report, he's the preferred candidate of Melania Trump.

Stephen Miller is believed to be in the running for attorney general, while Kash Patel has expressed interest in being CIA director.
Carlson has expressed support for Steve Bannon's return to Trump's inner circle as White House chief of staff.
Ric Grenell, John Ratcliffe and Jeffrey Clark are among the prominent names being discussed.
But, before anything else, Trump needs to win the presidential election, and it would be best if he could manage to avoid going to prison.
