Video Of Obama Leading Biden Offstage Goes Viral

-

Video footage from a campaign fundraiser in Los Angeles this past weekend went viral for an unexpected reason. Former President was seen grabbing President by the arm and gently leading him offstage as Biden continued to wave to the crowd. The incident, at a fundraiser that reportedly netted $30 million, has once again raised concerns about Biden's mobility and overall .

Unfortunately, Biden's apparent mobility issues in are part of a larger trend, rather than an isolated incident.

Just days prior, at the G7 summit in Italy, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni had to prompt a seemingly confused Biden to follow the group of global leaders, raising eyebrows internationally. (RELATED: Shocking: Doddering Biden Wanders Off At G7 Summit)

Adding to these concerns, during a Juneteenth celebration on the White House lawn, Biden appeared to freeze up. The president stood still for approximately 30 seconds while Vice President Kamala Harris, second gentleman Douglas Emhoff and Philonise Floyd, brother of the late George Floyd, danced nearby. Mobility issues in elderly individuals can be indicative of underlying health problems, including but not limited to cognitive decline or early signs of dementia.

For a sitting president, any sign of physical or cognitive decline is significant, not only for the individual's health but for national and global stability. The Daily Wire has more on the political fallout:

Hours before the fundraiser, First Lady addressed a group of roughly 250 seniors in Phoenix, , and attempted to allay any fears about her husband's age, saying, “Joe and the other guy are essentially the same age so let's not be fooled. … Biden is a healthy, wise, 81-year-old ready to work every day to make our future better.”

In Special Counsel criminal investigation of Biden, the report stated, “Mr. Biden's memory was significantly limited, both during his recorded interviews with the ghostwriter in 2017 [with whom he shared classified materials], and in his interview with our office in 2023 … We have also considered that, at trial, Mr. Biden would likely present himself to a jury, as he did during our interview of him, as a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory.”

Recordings from when Biden was interviewed by the ghostwriter in 2017 showed that even then, he was “struggling to remember events and straining at times to read and relay his own notebook entries,” the special counsel said, adding that even back then he was showing signs of “diminished faculties and faulty memory.”

While dementia is primarily characterized by memory loss, confusion and difficulty with thinking and problem-solving, physical symptoms can also occur. These can include problems with movement and coordination, such as shuffling walk, difficulty standing up or an unsteady gait.
