Nancy Pelosi’s Wednesday night performance at the Democratic National Convention was memorable, but not for the reasons she would hope. As she strutted toward the podium, sharp-eyed viewers couldn’t help but notice a little square of white detaching from her pristine pantsuit. Yes, folks, it looked like the San Francisco Democrat left behind something she should’ve flushed.
Social media exploded faster than Pelosi’s credibility. Within minutes, X was abuzz with speculation. Was it toilet paper? A rogue napkin? Or, as Bill Mitchell from YourVoice America quipped, just a visual representation of the “BS” she was about to spew?
Owen Klinsky from The Daily Caller pointed out that, in typical fashion, most of the legacy media (except ABC News, apparently) rushed to sweep this little mishap under the rug – or in this case, under the toilet seat. The footage was edited out from their broadcasts, disappearing like Pelosi’s dignity in the wake of allegations of insider trading involving her and her husband.
But Pelosi, ever the consummate politician, forged ahead with her speech, undeterred. She went on to heap praise on Kamala Harris, calling her “astute and strategic” for winning difficult elections… in California.
The former speaker also praised President Joe Biden, claiming “Democrats deliver[ed]” in four years “thanks to President Biden’s patriotic vision of a fair America doing so with liberty and justice for all.”
Pelosi reportedly played a big role in pressuring Biden to drop out of the 2024 race, telling him his exit could happen “the easy way or the hard way,” and telling swing-district Democrats to do whatever it takes to win, even if that meant calling for Biden’s ouster.
Her office has not responded to requests for comment yet.
Sure, static electricity, moisture or friction could be to blame for the alleged toilet paper faux pas, but isn’t it a little embarrassing that none of Pelosi’s handlers thought to check her six before she took the stage? With 20 million viewers watching, you’d think someone would have been on TP duty. But hey, when you’re as “astute and strategic” as Pelosi likes to say, who needs attention to detail?

You will find no one on this earth who dislikes Pelosi more than I. However, this is grade-school silliness.
Talk about things that matter, like taxes, recognition of capital gains, abortion “rights” for everyone but the baby, American allies STILL in Afghanistan and other inhospitable places. But shut up about the toilet paper. It does not become you.
