Elon Musk’s ‘Military Cybertrucks’ Are In Russian Hands

ANALYSIS – An impressive new aftermarket project is producing militarized tactical packages for the Tesla Cybertruck (see more below), but that’s not what we have here.

Instead, a pair of beefed-up regular Cybertrucks is in a Chechen warlord’s hands and he has reportedly given them to the Russian Army.

Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov says he sent the two modified Tesla Cybertrucks to Russian forces operating in occupied Ukrainian territory.

Did Musk give them to the Kremlin stooge, as the Chechen claims?

This is doubtful, as Musk, through his SpaceX Starlink satellite system has aided the Ukrainians tremendously with internet and communication networks after the Russians took down some of the country’s communications infrastructure.

The two futuristic vehicles, painted army green and armed with captured bed-mounted American M-2 Browning .50 caliber machine guns, were shown driving in a small convoy in a recent video posted by Kadyrov.

Soldiers are also seen firing the guns from the back of the trucks.

Last month Kadyrov shared a video of himself driving a Cybertruck around the grounds of his palace. The showboating warlord also posted pics of himself standing behind one of the Cybertruck’s guns wearing two bandoliers of bullets across his chest.

In his recent Telegram post, he said:

Two more Cybertrucks have been sent to the zone of the special military operation. Western technology performs well against its own Western ‘Ukronazis.’ Mobility, convenience, maneuverability—such qualities of the electric vehicle are highly valued here. Remote deactivation has not affected them. The machines are operating normally without failures.

The Chechen leader also hailed the truck’s “maneuverability” and crew protection, saying it “performed admirably” in combat.

Even more interestingly, and unconvincingly, Kadyrov claims Musk gifted him the two electric vehicles. Musk has denied the claim.

And to make his point, Musk acted. Kadyrov, the leader of Russia’s Chechen Republic, accused Musk on Thursday of disabling a Tesla Cybertruck that he claimed the billionaire gave him last month.

“Now, recently, Musk remotely disabled the Cybertruck,” Kadyrov said in a post on his Telegram account, reported by Fortune.

“That’s not a nice thing for Elon Musk to do. He gives expensive gifts from the bottom of his heart and then remotely switches them off,” he said.

Kadyrov added: “That’s not manly. We had to tow the iron horse. How could you do that, Elon?”

It is unclear if the Chechens or Russians have since then somehow disabled the truck’s remote deactivation feature.

Meanwhile, what is even better is that a collaboration between Archimedes Defense and Unplugged Performance in the U.S. is producing its own militarized tactical Cybertruck packages called STING.

STING APC: The crème de la crème of apocalypse-ready vehicles. This beast can withstand heavy machine gun fire and even improvised explosive devices. The STING APC variation takes protection to a whole new level with upgraded bolt-on offset steel and ceramic armor plating. It’s like driving around in a personal tank.

This novel Cybertruck upgrade provides several tactical benefits such as silent mobility, silent overwatch and idling for surveillance and fuel efficiency. All this while being extremely rugged and well armored. Both military and law enforcement could be likely users.

Just keep them out of the hands of the Russians.
