Political commentator and former Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly suggests that Vice President Kamala Harris’ messaging on the economy is resonating with voters, potentially influencing the outcome of the upcoming presidential election, leading to a possible defeat for former President Donald Trump.
In a recent episode of her podcast, Kelly, known for her staunch support of Trump, pointed out that voter concerns about inflation are now evenly divided. She highlighted Harris’ bullet points on the economy as a key factor.
“They care most about inflation, and they’re evenly split now on that issue. They say there’s a few explanations for it—the first is that Harris’s message on the economy has broken through,” Kelly noted.
She also mentioned that Trump’s efforts to tie Harris to the controversial Bidenomics strategy have not been as successful as Republicans had anticipated. “Another is that Trump’s attempt to link her to Bidenomics, I mentioned this earlier, has not been as effective as Republicans had hoped,” she said.
Kelly concluded her analysis by acknowledging that Harris is “getting through” to the public with her economic narrative, despite skepticism from some conservative circles.
Kelly, a former Fox News anchor, has a history of taking critical stances against both Democrats and mainstream media, while maintaining her support for Trump. However, her recent comments reflect an openness to acknowledge the effectiveness of Harris’ economic messaging in the current political climate.
