PAUL’S DAILY BRIEF (PDB) Monday – Trump tested the limits on using the military at home. If elected again, he plans to go further, reimagining the military as an all-powerful tool to deploy on U.S. soil.
He has pledged to recall thousands of American troops from overseas and station them at the U.S. border with Mexico.
He has also explored using troops for domestic priorities such as deportations and confronting civil unrest. He has talked of weeding out military officers who are ideologically opposed to him as the duly elected commander-in-chief.
AND JUSTIFIABLY SO.
MEANWHILE – Trump requests military support amid Iran threat. This includes military aircraft, expanded flight restrictions over his residences and rallies, ballistic glass pre-positioned in seven battleground state campaign sites and an array of military vehicles to transport the ex-president.
FOR YOUR EYES ONLY – Here’s a roundup of today’s other top defense stories from conservative national security expert PAUL CRESPO.
Not the President’s Daily Brief, but almost as good – PAUL’S DAILY BRIEFING – the PDB:

INTERNATIONAL SECURITY
US MILITARY
How many drones does the Army need? A lot more. It is buying hundreds of small drones for its infantry. But the service will need to buy thousands per year just to meet training objectives, let alone go to war.
Marines putting new L-MADIS counter-drone system through tactics course for the first time.
Marines to get biggest marksmanship overhaul in 100 years. The Marines look to change how troops learn to shoot, with a vastly updated qualification regimen set to roll out across the infantry.
Navy SEAL drowning deaths while boarding ship smuggling Iranian arms to Yemen were preventable. They died because of glaring training failures and a lack of understanding about what to do after falling into deep, turbulent waters.
Investigation of SEALs drowning also uncovers allegations of performance-enhancing drug use, secret surgery. This, amid a culture of exceptionalism where members are able to do things that would be off-limits to regular sailors.
Investment payoff: Coast Guard meets recruiting goals for first time in 6 years.
Regularly used ‘loss of confidence’ rationale doesn’t adequately explain military command firings.

His plans work for me!! I’d rather trust the military than the FBI/DOJ/ATF!!!!!
I spent 20 years in the Army and I wish it would happen, so sick of all the killings and crimes that are being committed in this Country.
It would be great to station Troops around this Country for as long as needed to help round up and stop the gangs, crimes and illegals. Then they can go back to where they are stationed.
What is needed well trained Servicemen, and Iron domes all around America, with new and Secure weapons, and quit sending money, arms, to any country other than Israel, those countries that hate us need to be taken back to the 15 th century 18 the least
God, please bless Israel now so
Lebanon can NOT do anymore damage to your country & the history that is there.
America has been invaded. Isn’t the purpose of our military to protect America from invaders?
