While China publicly claims neutrality, a great number of their officials are reportedly anxious about the prospect of a second Trump term. Most of their apprehension is probably related to Trump’s economic policy that prioritized a renewal of American manufacturing, and wanted to make the United States less dependent on the foreign rival.

Chinese Communist Party (CCP) officials quietly believe that a second Donald Trump presidency would be more dangerous to them than a Kamala Harris administration, The Wall Street Journal reported on Tuesday.
Trump issued a sweeping set of tariffs against China during his first term — adding a tax to imports coming in from the country — in a bid to encourage domestic U.S. investment and compel China to buy more American goods.
Xi and those and his orbit became exhausted in trying to maneuver the trade war and Trump’s demands, according to the WSJ. Trump has weighed the idea in his second term to issue a 60% tariff against incoming Chinese goods, which economists at UBS have predicted could mark a 2.5% blow to China’s GDP growth over a year-long period.
Trump has also recently weighed the idea of using the threat of tariffs to deter China from invading Taiwan, even musing that he would completely halt trade relations if the island is taken by force, which has been received extremely poorly in Beijing.
With Chinese officials reportedly losing sleep over the prospect of a second Trump term, attention is turning to domestic leaders like Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, whose increasingly suspicious relationship with the superpower raises serious concerns.
Tim Walz’s connection to China is noteworthy, characterized by an unusually high number of visits to the country. Of course China is for Harris. The government and Big Business are now in a conspiracy to emulate China. Has anyone noticed that the Democrats no longer call China the CCP. Now they call China the PRC (The People’s Republic of China) because it sounds like something benign and because, in reality, China is now their working model. China hasn’t been a pure communist state since Mao Zedong starved millions of his own people because, of course, true ideologues can’t produce anything. But since then, China learned to allow a more semi-Capitalist system as long as the producers swore their oath and allegiance to the CCP and the political overlords. Now, as a result, there are many, many millionaires and even billionaires in China and they have managed to continually grow their GDP and move hundreds of millions beyond bare subsistence living into a very low middle class (by our standards). What the Democrats and the political class here loves is that they still maintain complete control and surveillance over the populace and that’s what they want to emulate. And that’s why we now have a cabal between the Democrats and Big Business; that the Democrats used to abhor. Small businesses are being crushed by inflation, taxes and government overreach and over regulation but the Big International Corporate Businesses (Amazon, McDonalds, Coca Cola, Pepsi, Nike, Disney, Meta etc., etc) get to keep their tax breaks, their near monopolies, and get all they cheap labor they can dream of from our completely open border.
If you don’t believe me just look at how the S&P 500 is doing in comparison to everyday Americans and small businesses that are being crushed. Unbelievably the S&P 500 (the 500 biggest businesses in America) are up over 80% since 2020. That’s why Big Business financially supports the Democrats and all their “woke” policies and agenda and DEI nonsense. So now you see the Democrats moving towards complete control of the media and the flow of information while weaponizing the power of the state against the political opposition. That’s the Chinese totalitarian working model and the Democrats love it and want to emulate it. But getting there still requires promoting socialist policies like price controls and the lie of stopping big, bad “price gougers”. And that’s why Kamala’s first two policy proposals are flat out socialist/communist. They promise the lie to only “tax the rich” and more and more “free stuff” to pander to the ignorant populace knowing that their promises are illegal and will never be instituted. Like Biden’s illegal student loan “forgiveness” or Kamala’s $25,000 free money to first time home buyers. If these two clowns get elected then we become the CCP and just another dystopian, totalitarian state; ruled over by rich politicians and big business oligarchs. A country of just two classes, the rich politicians and business oligarchs and the poor masses who will own nothing. Fail to comply and/or protest and, likely as in China, you will be sent to a “re-education” camp. Vote for Harris/Walz and that’s what your future will look like.
