At a Friday night campaign rally in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, rapper Cardi B endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris for president, expressing her belief in Harris’ leadership and empathy. However, the multimillionaire music sensation also voiced concerns about the current economic malaise under the Biden-Harris regime, particularly the standard of living, stating, “The cost of food and the cost of living is too high. Damn, it’s even high for me.”
Known for her straightforward style, Cardi did not hesitate to note that Harris “better not be lying to her face,” a comment that drew ridicule from Trump supporters.
The comments further fuel the debate over the Biden-Harris administration’s economic approach to addressing inflation and other financial concerns affecting millions of American families.

Cardi B said the comments in support of Harris but appears to have forgotten that prices soared 20% under Biden and Harris.

Cardi’s appearance, while impassioned, had another hiccup. Her remarks had not been loaded into the teleprompter, which led to 90 seconds of awkwardness as she waited for her phone to be brought on stage so she wouldn’t have to speak off the cuff.
This isn’t the first time Cardi has been vocal about politics. She has previously criticized the Biden-Harris administration, focusing particularly on inflation and rising living costs.
