According to left-leaning news outlets, reports are flooding in of increased demand for abortion pills, emergency contraception (the “morning after” pill), and long-term birth control measures, including vasectomies.
Aid Access, a nonprofit organization that mails abortion pills across the country, reported receiving 10,000 requests within 24 hours of Trump’s victory—a stark increase from the usual 600 requests they typically handle in a day. Rebecca Gomperts, the founder of Aid Access, stated that the organization’s website briefly crashed under the weight of the surge. She noted that many of these requests came from people wanting to have the pills on hand as a precautionary measure in case they unexpectedly became pregnant.
In a related trend, Just the Pill, a telemedicine provider for abortion pills, reported that nearly 20% of their orders between the day after the election and the following weekend were from women who were not currently pregnant but were ordering pills in advance. This “advance provision” behavior, which had previously been rare, appears to be a growing response to paranoia about abortion access under a Trump administration.
Emergency contraception, such as the “morning after” pill, also saw a massive uptick in demand. Winx Health reported that they sold seven times more emergency contraception the day after the election than they had the entire previous week. Planned Parenthood, one of the largest abortion providers in the country, reported a staggering 1,200 percent increase in vasectomy appointments, while IUD (intrauterine device) appointments rose by 760 percent.
The day after the election, Google searches for terms like “morning after pill legal?” spiked by 700%, in addition to searches for “abortion pill online” and “shelf life of morning after pill” trending in the aftermath of Trump’s win, showing how many were scrambling for information and resources.
Wisp, a telehealth service that specializes in contraception, saw similarly dramatic increases in sales. According to Wisp’s CEO, Monica Cepak, emergency contraception sales jumped by 1,000%, new patient emergency contraception orders surged by 1,650%, and medication abortion orders spiked by 600%. This surge is comparable to the wave of increased sales that followed the U.S. Supreme Court’s Dobbs decision in 2022, which overturned Roe v. Wade and left abortion access up to individual states.
Despite Trump’s repeated assertions that abortion laws should be decided by individual states, critics—particularly within the Democratic Party—insist that a second Trump administration could push for national abortion restrictions.

Thank you Darwin
Here’s a thought. Don’t have unprotected sex.
And please, get permanent sterilization. You don’t deserve kids.
Do you have a twisted, unconstitutional view of the Roe v Wade-Dobbs decision? The Supreme Court ruled that there is NO “national women’s right to abortion” in the US Constitution. Since a “national women’s right to abortion” is not one of the delegated powers or rights listed in the Constitution for the US Congress to act on, the power to regulate abortion is reserved to the states respectively. US presidents, vice presidents, and US Congress-members take sworn oaths to “support and defend” the US Constitution’s 10th Amendment. The 10th Amendment is one of the PEOPLES’ “Bill of Rights” the federal government cannot ignore. What part or parts of the 10th Amendment do you not understand?
The Supreme Court ruled that the power to regulate abortion is “RETURNED” to the states as it was for over 180 years before Roe v Wade. Why are you ignoring over 180 years of past history precedence that proved the regulation of abortion was left up to the states? What part of the word “RETURNED” do you fail to comprehend? In order for the power to regulate abortion to be “RETURNED” to the states it has to be “REMOVED” from the US Congress that “PREVIOUSLY” had that power. What part of the word “RETURNED” (giving back) do you not understand?
The US Congress can take action on regulating abortion ONLY under limited circumstances. The simplest action would be to pass a law using Section 5 of the 14th Amendment to define a “person” to be a person at the point of conception. This is the ONLY action that the US Congress has the power to act on that’s constitutional right now. The US Congress can attempt to repeal the 10th Amendment. The US Congress can try to amend the Constitution by adding an amendment to create a “right to abortion” so the federal government has power to regulate it. A simple law to codify or create a “national women’s right to abortion” is unconstitutional. This simple law would violate the 10th Amendment and the “check and balance” system that blatantly defies the Roe v Wade and Dobbs Supreme Court ruling. You and every other US citizen have an obligation to heed and follow Supreme Court rulings.
If an amendment to the US Constitution was “NECESSARY” to give women the “national right to vote”, it is also “NECESSARY” to have an amendment giving them the “national right to an abortion”.
If there were privacy rights written into the 14th Amendment that gave women the national right to an abortion as Roe v Wade proclaimed, why did it take over 100 years to find that national right?
There are NO ifs, ands, and buts about the US Constitution and abortion at the present time.

The meltdown is hilarious. I shouldn’t say I enjoy it, but it does make me smile. They so believe they are relevant, but if they would stop and talk to anybody, we would be able to disprove all the lies. At least those of us not indoctrinated by so-called elite schools. I broke my heart when I saw a young woman trying to explain why abortion was so crucial to her. Would these young women feel the same if they discovered the blob of cels were actually human beings?. I pray for them all, though that satans chains be removed from them.
