Tensions flared on Thursday during a congressional hearing before the Task Force on the Attempted Assassination of Donald J. Trump, as United States Secret Service (USSS) Acting Director Ronald Rowe Jr. and Representative Pat Fallon (R-Texas) engaged in a heated shouting match over the agency’s response to the July 13 assassination attempt on President-elect Trump. The confrontation quickly escalated, with nearly unintelligible shouting and pointed criticisms filling the chamber.

The New York Post reports:
“Who is usually at an event like this closest to the President of the United States?” Fallon asked Rowe, pointing to the photo where Trump was seen without an agent next to him and insinuating that the acting director had wanted to stand in a place of prominence for the 23rd anniversary of 9/11. “Were you the special agent in charge of the detail that day?”
“Actually, let me address this,” Rowe replied, clearly irritated as if the rep hit a nerve. “Actually, congressman, what you’re not seeing is the SAC [Special Agent In Charge] of the detail out of the picture’s view. And that is the day where we remember more than 3,000 people that have died on 9/11.
“I actually responded to Ground Zero. I was there going through the ashes of the World Trade Center,” he added. “I was there congressman — I was there to show respect for a Secret Service member that died on 9/11. Do not invoke 9/11 for political purposes.”
“I am not asking you that. I am asking, were you the special agent in charge?” Fallon shot back during some crosstalk, his voice growing louder. “You were not — Oh that’s a bunch of horse hockey.”
“You know why you were there, because you wanted to be visible, because you are auditioning for this job that you’re not doing to get,” Fallon yelled, accusing Rowe of putting his ambition before public safety.
“You are out of line, congressman. Way out of line,” Rowe bellowed. “I am a public servant who has served this nation and spent time on our country’s darkest day.”
Since Trump’s brush with death at the Butler Farm Show grounds, Director Rowe has faced significant criticism for security lapses and communication failures within the agency. Throughout Thursday’s House task force hearing, lawmakers expressed frustration over the agency’s basic security oversights and a perceived lack of accountability. Rep. Jason Crow (D-Colo.) highlighted the agency’s outdated communication methods and a culture where agents failed to voice concerns about security issues. Rep. Mark Green (R-Tenn.) described the agency’s conduct during the July shooting as “almost lackadaisical,” pointing to “really basic” issues that suggested apathy or complacency.
In response to these criticisms, Rowe acknowledged the agency’s failures and committed to a comprehensive reorganization. He emphasized the need to enhance training, improve communication and foster a culture where agents feel empowered to voice concerns.
Rowe attempted to assure task force members, “We are reorganizing and reimagining this organization,” emphasizing the importance of identifying potential leaders earlier in their careers.

This guy is FIRED! The SS needs to be completely OVERHAULED and the FBI dismantled and sent to the states!
So rather than doing his job and making sure his agency was operating effectively he waits until some quack shows him things need to change. I question not only his lack of leadership but also any onsite supervisors.
INCREDIBLE! It’s been 5 months since this assassination attempt and Rowe is talking about what needs to happen. He’s been in charge almost that entire time. Why hasn’t he already done these things?!
This Rowe character should be terminated for gross insubordination He is not in a position to talk back much less than yelling He knows exactly what he did He tried to sabotage to detail that was to protect President Trump and he did The people in out government like Rowe need to be weeded out They are poison to our way of life and to our country These people need to remember who they work for This Rowe asshole is a prime example of the people who must be terminated They have no guarantee to employment If they are not doing their job correctly and if they talk back then they must go They have to understand that they report to the citizens of our country and they are not in charge They are there to do the job assigned or they are gone So we need to get it started right now immediately Fuck This low life fuck Rowe He thinks he is a bad ass So it’s time to show him he is not
I guess he got his pantie’s in a bunch because he was being called out. He should have just answered the question. All of the theater just make him look guilty of something. One day the fools will learn that the raised voices only make them look as guilty as Hunter Biden. We all know how that turned out. Now his daddy has to bail his butt out again. This time making a fool out of himself in front of the whole WORLD. He should be thanking Nancy for getting him kicked out because he is and will be forever know as the BIGGEST LIAR EVER TO SIT IN THE OVAL OFFICE. OBAMA LOVES HIM NOW HE MADE HIM THE THIRD WORST PRESIDENT EVER. JOE, JIMMY AND OBAMA.
