Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) announced this week there is “no way” he would be supporting the World Health Organization’s (WHO) global pandemic treaty. The treaty began making waves online after news began to spread of the WHO’s annual meeting that started on Monday. The WHO is currently considering amendments from President Joe Biden’s administration to authorize the WHO to have control over when an international health emergency is declared, essentially nullifying American sovereignty over health crises.
“We in Florida, there is no way we will ever support this WHO. thing … that’s not going to happen. No way,” DeSantis said during a press conference.
He continued by calling out the global elites who are currently meeting in Switzerland.
“But you saw, I mean, you saw a lot of these elites advocate very pernicious policies,” DeSantis said, adding that “part of the reason people want to move here is because we rejected those policies, but they advocated very pernicious policies, including locking kids out of school.”
During the COVID pandemic, the WHO advocated for lockdown policies, influenced by the Chinese Communist Party, as well as vaccine mandates later in the pandemic.
Former President Donald Trump (R) withdrew the United States from the WHO, but Biden got the United States back in with Dr. Anthony Fauci, head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, representing the United States in the executive committee.
Earlier this year, DeSantis pitted himself once again against the Biden administration, launching his own set of COVID guidelines along with the Florida Department of Health called “Buck the CDC.” DeSantis also launched a campaign targeted at Fauci called “Don’t Fauci My Florida.”
Florida Senator Marco Rubio (R) expressed his displeasure with the United States’ affiliation with the WHO.
“We must never allow Biden to use a ‘Pandemic Treaty’ to give control over American public health decisions to the corrupt @WHO,” Rubio said on Twitter.
The Liberty Counsel, a nonprofit legal ministry which offers pro-bono work defending religious liberty and pro-life litigants, said the WHO treaty is one of the largest power grabs in recent memory.
“The Biden administration is setting the stage to hand ultimate control of America’s healthcare system and U.S. national sovereignty over to the World Health Organization (WHO),” Liberty Counsel said.

Biden is on course to surrender our sovereignty over to the UN. People forget the dozen or so times Obama said we should do it, “to ensure world peace and stability.”

The fraudulent one world govt., called the U.N. is noting more than a bunch of extortionists. The U.N. should be evicted from the shores of the U.S. The U.N. would be much happier living in Socialist Europe.
I’ve preached the same thing for years, the UN needs to be expelled from the United States and let some other country have the “honor” of hosting them. They have proven themselves to be as useless as the organization before them, the League of Nations. They are a massive waste of our taxpayer dollars.
Governor DeSantis is 100 per cent right. We should not be even consider joining WHO. He is doing great job in Florida, it is too bad there aren’t two of him, cuz we need him for President also President Trump did an amazing job but DeSantis wants to do what is right for Florida and our country. It will be only a matter of time before the WHO declares gun violence as a pandemic and will order seizure of all guns. They’re not even trying to hide their marxism any more.
I’m not real sure, but I don’t think Biden has the authority to hand the reins of the government over to any foreign power. If he does, the next president can just as easily undo it.
Everyone knows what happens to traitors. Biden is on borrowed time. His communist coup is on borrowed time. Some have argued that Russia and China will not let Joe Biden be impeached and will act by attacking the US before the November elections. I’m not sure about that, but just in case, I think someone other than our moron in chief should be in charge of the nuclear football and not be hesitant to fire when the time comes. No one in charge of China or Russia would hesitate if things weren’t going well for them. They have already threatened to do so because America is the only one in the world that can stand up to them. About time we did. As has been said many times, the best defense is a good offense. Biden has done his best to make both our defenses and offensive forces less of a factor for his friends in the communist block. That being said, this is coming down to a battle between good and evil, subjugation and freedom, what kind of choice will women have under Communism? Every right in the Bill of Rights goes against Marxist inspired government. So what are the globalists, democrats, the WEF, their minions in our government, Hollywood, and media, Joe Biden, George Bush, selling? It’s not freedom. Those who have sworn an oath have broken it. It’s long past time to end the coup.
By supporting any agreement that surrenders American sovereignty to anything (including the U.N.), Biden is committing treason and should be punished to the fullest extent of the law. The same is true of any senator who ratifies any such agreement or treaty.
The incident was not the 82-year-old Husgand of Pelosi’s first encounter with the law involving alcohol and operating a motor vehicle.
He had also been arrested in 2018 for charges pertaining to driving and drinking and was put on probation for three years for “alcohol-related reckless driving,” according to KNTV-TV.
