In a stern warning at her first press conference on Wednesday, U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi vowed to prosecute any government officials found responsible for leaking information regarding U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raids. Bondi’s comments follow concerns raised by White House Border Czar Tom Homan, who suggested that someone within the FBI leaked sensitive information that compromised a raid, wasting government resources and endangering officers.
At the press conference, Bondi was asked by the Daily Caller whether the Department of Justice (DOJ) had made any progress in identifying the source of the leaks, and what the consequences would be for those responsible. She responded forcefully, emphasizing the importance of protecting law enforcement officers and the potentially lethal consequences of such leaks.
“The great men and women in law enforcement standing behind me today, they deserve, they must be protected, and anytime anyone leaks or tips off anything regarding a pending investigation that jeopardizes lives,” Bondi said. “You’re telling a bad guy what’s about to happen. It could jeopardize the lives of all the men and women in law enforcement. We will not stand for it.”
Bondi clarified that the DOJ was currently conducting an open investigation into the matter and was committed to holding anyone involved accountable, regardless of which agency they belong to. “We will find you. We’re going to investigate it, no matter what agency it came from. We don’t know for certain. We have an open investigation, so I can’t talk about it in detail, but we will do everything in our power to hold you accountable,” she continued. “It is a crime, and you will be prosecuted when we find you.”
The most recent leak, reported by the Los Angeles Times, involved a document revealing ICE’s plans to conduct “large-scale” operations targeting cities. The leak reportedly allowed members of the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua to evade ICE apprehension by gaining prior knowledge of the planned raids. Homan, speaking on Fox News with host Sean Hannity, expressed concern that such leaks could put law enforcement officers in direct danger, particularly if criminals are able to prepare for or ambush raids.
“It’s only a matter of time before we walk into a place where there’s going to be a bad guy who doesn’t care. He’s going to be sitting and waiting for the officers to show up and ambush them. This is not a game,” Homan warned.
In addition to the leaks, Bondi also announced the DOJ’s filing of a lawsuit against New York Governor Kathy Hochul and State Attorney General Letitia James for failing to enforce immigration laws. Bondi stated that after the state of Illinois did not respond to similar action, New York would now face legal repercussions for its refusal to comply with federal immigration enforcement.
“We sued Illinois, and New York didn’t listen, so now, you’re next,” Bondi declared, signaling a continued effort by the DOJ to hold states accountable for noncompliance with federal immigration policies.
As the investigation into the leaks continues, the DOJ has made it clear that protecting the safety of law enforcement officers and maintaining the integrity of federal operations will remain a priority. Those within the government who jeopardize these efforts through leaks will face severe legal consequences.

YES!!!!!!!!!
I pray that they find the person or persons responsible for the leaks, prosecute them, lock ’em up and throw away the key. Too bad there can’t be something much stronger and tougher to do to them.
Traitors. These leakers, need to be tried for treason, and, if convicted, sent to Gitmo with their gangbanger pals.
