During a press conference on Sunday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, standing alongside U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, vowed to “finish the job” against Iran. With the full support of President Donald Trump, Netanyahu reiterated Israel’s unwavering commitment to neutralizing Iran’s nuclear ambitions. Secretary Rubio reinforced this stance, making it clear: “There will never be a nuclear Iran.” He emphasized that Iran is the common force behind global terror, funding and arming Hamas, Hezbollah, West Bank violence, Syrian destabilization and militant activity in Iraq.

A Strengthened U.S.-Israel Alliance in the Face of Growing Threats
The discussion underscores the robust strategic partnership between the U.S. and Israel as Iran’s influence continues to infect the region. The timing is significant—recent U.S. intelligence suggests that Israel may take direct military action against Iran in the coming months. With Iran’s nuclear program advancing unchecked, the need for decisive action has arguably never been more urgent. The shift in U.S. policy under President Trump—removing restrictions on arms shipments to Israel—further signals that military action may be imminent.

Trump Removes Biden-Era Arms Restrictions on Israel
In a major shift from previous policies under the Biden administration, the Israeli Defense Ministry confirmed that a shipment of 1,800 MK-84 2,000-pound bombs and associated equipment has finally arrived in Israel. These weapons, previously withheld due to bureaucratic delays and political hesitancy, will bolster Israel’s ability to counter Iran’s growing aggression. The move reflects Trump’s commitment to standing with Israel and ensuring it has the tools necessary to defend itself.
Iran’s Nuclear Program: A Growing Global Concern
Iran’s nuclear ambitions have been a cause for alarm since 2003, when it was revealed that its program was far more advanced than previously known. In 2018, President Trump made the decision to withdraw from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), commonly known as the Iran nuclear deal, reimposing sanctions on Iran. The Iranian regime responded by accelerating uranium enrichment and limiting international inspections, defying global pressure and moving closer to nuclear weapons capability.
As of 2025, Iran’s nuclear activities continue across multiple sites, most notably at its Natanz enrichment facility and the Bushehr nuclear power plant. Intelligence reports suggest that Iran is rapidly approaching the capability to produce a nuclear weapon, prompting serious discussions about preemptive military action. The U.S. and Israel, along with European allies, have repeatedly stated that Iran’s nuclear program has no legitimate civilian justification, strongly suggesting a covert military agenda.
Will Iran Return to Negotiations?
Despite some signals from Iran about potential negotiations, Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has shown little interest in meaningful diplomacy. His recent statements dismissing engagement with the U.S. further reinforce the belief that Iran has no intention of halting its nuclear ambitions.
With Netanyahu and Trump aligned in their commitment to preventing a nuclear-armed Iran, the coming months could prove decisive in determining the future of Middle Eastern stability.

If Iran ends nuclear weapons drive Yes if not War
What is there to bargain? We want to live, the Ayatollah wants us DEAD. The Obummer /SloJoe deal only made Iran richer and more powerful.
Diplomacy is dead when it is practiced with blackmail – because it isn’t – and never was – DIPLOMACY AND A GOOD POLICY – BUT ONLY BULLYING!
THERE IS A NUCLEAR DANGER IN THE MID-EAST – and extending to India – but the Mid-East-Triangle is ISRAEL – PAKISTAN – iran (not yet fully in it)
Of all these, only ONE has shown us that it is a SUPERPOWER WITH REGULAR FORCES (AND NUCLEAR WEAPONS) SUPERIOR TO ALL OTHERS: ISRAEL!
And Israel is the only one of those that has, since its foundation, ATTACKED ACROSS ITS OWN (or UN-given) BORDERS – AND CONQUERED FOREIGN LAND!
– This involved WAR with, and LAND-TAKE from THE INDIGENOUS PEOPLE OF THE LEVANTE, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, Egypt (part returned – part kept)
Pakistan has only been at war with India – over territories in their North – which, maybe, should better be left to the decision of their indigenous people.
– and a terrorist (but military supported) murder excursion into Mumbay.
Iran HAS NEVER IN THIS OR THE LAT CENTURY ATTACKED ANY OTHER COUNTRY – but was subjected by US and UK Governments to a PUTSCH destroying Democracy!
– and its revolution against the foreign installed and supported “Emperor” was punished with a War by PROXY Iraq costing Iran 250,000 lives!
IF WE LOOK AT THIS, WE SHOULD THINK LOGICALLY – AND RECOGNIZE: ‘THE MOST PEACEFUL COUNTRY IN THIS MID-EAST TRIANGLE’!
Certainly NOT Israel! – And NOT REALLY Pakistan! – WHICH LEAVES US ONLY WITH IRAN!
WE SHOULD ADMIT THAT THE POLICIES IRAN WAS SUBJECTED TO WERE CRIMINAL – AND, PROMISING BETTERMENT, TRY TO COMPENSATE AN GIVE GUARANTEES!
These guarantees MUST INCLUDE THE REIGNING IN OF ALL MID-EAST COUNTRIES WITH MASSIVE MILITARY, AND ESP. NUCLEAR ARMS – INCLUDING ISRAEL!
The United Kingdom and the United States have special responsibility in this as the former colonial ruler in the region and its successor past 1948:
The build-up of ISRAEL AS THE MID-EAST US-MILITARY BRIDGEHEAD BY THE OIL WELLS was, in many ways, responsible for the land theft and suppression of the Arabs.
TALKING ABOUT “FINISHING THE JOB AGAINST IRAN” HAS ONLY TWO POINTS: 1. MAKING ISRAEL AN OPPRESSIVE GOLIATH, and 2. RE-ESTABLISHING US-DOMINION OVER IRAN!
BOTH WOULD BE, FROM BOTTOM TO TOP, ILLEGAL AND VIOLATING HUMAN RIGHTS ALL OVER THE REGION – establishing a “REICH” as someone else had planned further North..
THE ONLY GOOD SOLUTION FOR EVERYONE IN THE MID-EAST IS A NON-NUCLEAR REGION!
What ever happened to the billions Obama put into an account sitting in Qatar so that Iran wouldn’t go nuclear? What’s the bet that, under Obama/Clinton era of money and arms management, after delivery fees, collection fees, transportation fees, accounting fees, energy delivery fees, etc…. that 60% to 75% of that money in small bills, in a take-it-or-leave-it deal, flew back to the US that same day and is another present day democratic slush/campaign fund pigeon-hole?
