President Donald Trump issued a memo Friday revoking the security clearances of several prominent political figures, including former President Joe Biden, former Vice President Kamala Harris and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. The unprecedented decision extends to other critics, including former FBI Director Robert Mueller, and reflects growing political tensions in Washington.
Trump justified the revocations claiming they serve the national interest. Traditionally, former presidents and officials retain such clearances to provide counsel on national security matters, making Trump’s decision a significant departure from established protocol.
The cancellations also affect New York Attorney General Letitia James, Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg and former Biden officials Antony Blinken, Jake Sullivan and Lisa Monaco. Additionally, anti-Trump Republicans Adam Kinzinger and Liz Cheney, both members of the Jan. 6 Committee, and others have lost their clearances. Trump directed the proper authorities to take necessary actions to revoke these clearances and deny the affected individuals access to classified information and secure government facilities.
The New York Post reports:
“I have determined that it is no longer in the national interest for the following individuals to access classified information,” Trump wrote in the memo to the heads of executive departments and agencies, before naming those he’s barring from receiving classified information.
“Any other member of Joseph R. Biden Jr.’s family” will also be impacted by the memo.
Reacting to the development on CNN, on-air commentator Scott Jennings praised President Trump’s move, calling it a decisive and justified response given the Biden family’s long track record of alleged influence peddling overseas.
Alexander Vindman, a key witness who led to House Democrats impeaching Trump for abuse of power and obstruction of Congress in 2019; Fiona Hill, a former Trump administration official who also served as a witness in the impeachment over Trump’s phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky; Mark Zaid, who represented the whistleblower in the 2019 impeachment; Andrew Weissman, the lead prosecutor in former special counsel Robert Mueller’s Trump investigation; and Norman Eisen, special counsel to the Democrat-led House Judiciary Committee during the impeachment will all have their security clearance stripped as well.
“I hereby direct every executive department and agency head to take all additional action as necessary and consistent with existing law to revoke any active security clearances held by the aforementioned individuals and to immediately rescind their access to classified information,” Trump, 78, wrote.
Critics of the administration lamented the action as retaliatory, highlighting Trump’s ongoing grudges with his opponents. The memorandum was issued shortly after the president arrived at his New Jersey golf property for the weekend.

I wonder why President Trump did NOT strip Security Clearance from Bill Clinton, as h e did for Hillary, and from Jill Biden, as he did for Joe Biden; It is possible that Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden may still be able to access Classified Information via Bill’s and Jill’s intact security clearance.
None of those who got their security clearance cancelled are pro America. They all represent the interests of foreign nations and/or the globalists. Great moving protecting our country by cancelling these traitors access to our secrets.
