British comedian and actor Russell Brand has been formally charged by the Greater London Metropolitan Police with multiple sexual offenses, including one count each of rape, indecent assault, oral rape and two counts of sexual assault. These charges stem from allegations made by four women concerning incidents that occurred between 1999 and 2005. Brand, aged 50, is scheduled to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on May 2, 2025.
According to a report from Page Six:
The Metropolitan Police lead Detective Superintendent Andy Furphy said in the statement, “The women who have made reports continue to receive support from specially trained officers.”
“The Met’s investigation remains open and detectives ask anyone who has been affected by this case, or anyone who has any information, to come forward and speak with police,” he continued.

Brand’s representatives didn’t immediately return Page Six’s request for comment.
The investigation into Brand’s conduct began in 2023 after several women came forward with accusations of sexual misconduct, including rape, in reports by The Sunday Times and Channel 4’s “Dispatches.” At that time, Brand denied all allegations, asserting that his relationships were consensual.
The Metropolitan Police have encouraged anyone with additional information to come forward, emphasizing their commitment to supporting victims of sexual offenses.

A Celebrity With a MAGA Vibe
Russell Brand isn’t traditionally considered a “MAGA celebrity” in the way that figures like Kid Rock, Ted Nugent or Mel Gibson are. However, in recent years, he’s gained traction with conservative and pro-Trump audiences—especially online.
Here’s why:
He’s fiercely critical of mainstream media and Big Pharma, especially during and after the COVID pandemic.
He often challenges liberal orthodoxy and what he calls “woke” narratives.
His YouTube and Rumble channels feature anti-establishment commentary, often aligning with populist and right-wing talking points.
He’s interviewed figures like Tucker Carlson and Vivek Ramaswamy, and he’s spoken positively about Donald Trump’s anti-establishment appeal.
In 2024, Trump even publicly praised Brand for “speaking the truth,” which gave him a boost in MAGA circles.

Brand’s transformation from Hollywood bad boy to anti-establishment firebrand has earned him a growing following among MAGA-aligned audiences, thanks to his unapologetic takedowns of media elites, global institutions and the political class.
Brand’s political and cultural transformation began around 2020. His rightward shift accelerated sharply in 2021 and 2022, when he started using his YouTube channel and podcast to criticize COVID-19 mandates, Big Pharma, legacy media and global institutions like the World Economic Forum.

Sounds like someone(s) is really setting Brand up, probably because he is pro-America and Pro-Trump.
So, Brand is more famous for his MAGA than his Acting and Comedy? Typical media… anything to smear MAGA. Only a liberal would fall for it… Americans know better.
Brand should be prosecuted with no free ride. But of course, the MSM will use the MAGA connection as “proof” that all MAGA people evil just like him. And, rant that it shows the other MAGA people will soon be arrested and prosecuted for crimes just like this.
There was a case of a mass shooter years ago. Within the first two hours of his arrest, a local cop alerted a friend at MSDNC. The cop let him and his video crew into the perp’s apartment. The friend released videos of himself rummaging thorough dust covered piles of books. After several hours, he found a book by Bill O’Reilly at the bottom of a pile. He held it up to the camera, and ominously proclaimed that the book by Bill caused the shooter to commit the crime. The MSM milked the story for several weeks. “Bill creates killers!”
How is a man going to mount a defense from charges made about events in 1999 to 2005?
What evidence remains?
This smells of political persecution.
