Arizona Democratic Sen. Ruben Gallego is launching an effort to challenge a new Trump Administration immigration policy that could require many green card applicants to leave the United States and complete the process abroad.

According to a report from The Hill, Gallego is not only seeking to overturn the policy itself but is also pursuing a procedural strategy that could make it easier for Congress to reverse the change.

The dispute revolves around a recent U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) policy affecting how certain immigrants obtain lawful permanent residency.

Zoe Edelman, a senior at Stanford and a member of the anti-Israel group “Liberate Stanford,” has been hit with felony charges after storming the university president’s office during a protest last June.

She’s not just any student — Edelman is the granddaughter of Marian Wright Edelman, a prominent civil rights activist and key mentor to Hillary Clinton, who has publicly called her a “hero.” Her father also held a leadership role at the Gates Foundation.

According to Santa Clara DA Jeff Rosen, this wasn’t some spur-of-the-moment protest—it was a premeditated raid. The group allegedly smashed windows, trashed furniture, splattered fake blood, disabled security cameras and locked themselves in while broadcasting demands. Prosecutors say they even used encrypted messages and a “DIY occupation guide” to plan the whole thing. (RELATED: Texas DA Drops Bombshell In Excruciating Case Of Austin Metcalf’s Death)

Rosen drew a clear line: “Dissent is American. Vandalism is criminal.”

The Washington Free Beacon has additional details on what the local DA’s office is calling a “calculated plan of destruction.”

Edelman was arrested after the office takeover last June, but the case has been in limbo for months while prosecutors decided whether to bring forth charges. Felony vandalism and conspiracy to trespass both carry potential jail sentences in California.

In its announcement, the DA’s office said Edelman and her co-conspirators carried out a “calculated plan of destruction” at Stanford that resulted in hundreds of thousands of dollars in damage to campus buildings.

Edelman, a senior at Stanford and member of the anti-Israel group “Liberate Stanford,” has an elite left-wing pedigree. Photos show the Stanford student posing with Hillary Clinton at a gala in Washington, D.C., in 2022.

Edelman’s father, Josh, was the longtime K-12 deputy director at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Her grandfather served in the Department of Health and Human Services under President Bill Clinton.

Her grandmother, Marian Wright Edelman, and Hillary go way back — we’re talking a decades-long connection rooted in politics, activism and power networking. (RELATED: The Soros-Linked Plot To Bury Hillary’s Dirty Basement Secret)

Edelman — founder of the Children’s Defense Fund — was basically a mentor to Hillary when she was fresh out of Yale Law School. Hillary worked for Edelman at the CDF in the early 1970s, and it shaped a lot of her public persona as a champion for children and families.

But like a lot of Clinton-world relationships, it got complicated. They stayed close for years — Edelman was a huge supporter of both Bill and Hillary during the early political days. Hillary even name-dropped her constantly to bolster her image.

Then the Clintons hit the White House, and that’s where the tension started. Edelman wasn’t thrilled with some of Bill’s policies — welfare reform in particular. She saw it as a betrayal of the very people they both claimed to fight for. (RELATED: Top Legal Watchdog Sues Feds For Epstein Client Lists)

Marian’s husband, Peter Edelman, even resigned from the Clinton administration in protest over the 1996 welfare reform bill — a direct rebuke of Bill’s legacy and, by extension, Hillary’s complicity.

Now, her granddaughter’s case is raising serious questions about where protest ends and crime begins — particularly on college campuses.

Edelman’s arraignment is scheduled for later this month.

I hope all of them involved get the book thrown at them and prison time.

Is that a ring I see in the Edelman’s nose… that cultural practice uniformly reminds me of pigs and farm animals.
