Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is putting 2028 speculation to rest — firmly.
“I am not running for president in 2028,” Kennedy declared Friday in a social media post. “Let me be clear.” He reaffirmed his loyalty to President Trump and their shared mission, calling the chatter a distraction.
Kennedy blamed the rumors on political lobbyists trying to stir up conflict between him and Trump. He called the claims “flat-out lies.”
The swamp is in full panic mode. DC lobby shops are laboring fiercely to drive a wedge between President Trump and me, hoping to thwart our team from dismantling the status quo and advancing @POTUS’ Make America Healthy Again agenda. They’re pushing the flat-out lie that I’m…

Instead, Kennedy said he remains laser-focused on delivering results through the “Make America Healthy Again” initiative — a signature public health push under the Trump administration.
Recent activity by his super PAC, including a supporter call earlier this summer, had prompted speculation from outlets like Axios that a long-game campaign might be in motion. But Kennedy insists the call had nothing to do with 2028.
Fueling the fire, far-right activist Laura Loomer — a high-profile voice in the MAGA movement — leaned into the rumors. She highlighted names like Stefanie Spear inside Kennedy’s orbit as possible future campaign players. Critics view Loomer’s commentary as part of ongoing jockeying for influence within Trump’s coalition.
As ABC News reports, the HHS secretary also used Friday’s post to praise Spear:
In his X post, Kennedy defended Spear, calling her “a fierce, loyal warrior for MAHA who proudly serves in the Trump Administration and works every day to advance President Trump’s vision for a healthier, stronger America.”
Spear served as press secretary for Kennedy’s failed presidential campaign, which ended last August with an endorsement of Trump.
Loomer, a staunch pro-Trump figure, has previously boasted of initiating the firings of government officials she deemed insufficiently loyal to the president. She did not immediately respond publicly to Kennedy’s post.
For their part, Kennedy and his allies waved off the uproar, casting it as little more than the usual D.C. interference.

I am totally sick of the thousands of text messages and emails flooding my computer and cell phone, all seeking a donation to Win-Red. I am not alone, may GOP MAGA supporters feel the same way! It needs to be investigated. john capes
