A new report from The Wall Street Journal suggests the ammunition used in the recent shooting of conservative activist Charlie Kirk may have been marked with ideological symbols.
According to sources, cartridges recovered at the scene were engraved with phrases or symbols tied to transgender and antifascist movements.
Conservative commentator Steven Crowder shared the claim on X, citing an alleged email from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
The email reportedly described a Mauser .30-06 rifle along with ammunition carrying engravings linked to trans and antifa ideologies.

Mediaite’s Tom Durante reports that authorities are focusing on several key pieces of physical evidence
Ammunition cartridges recovered along with the bolt-action rifle used in the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk were scrawled with transgender and anti-fascist messages, The Wall Street Journal reported Thursday.
The rifle was recovered Wednesday night in a wooded area where the FBI believes the killer fled after the shooting. It was wrapped in a towel and had three unused ammo cartridges still in the chamber, sources told the Journal.
The disturbing discovery came hours after Kirk, the Turning Point USA founder, was shot and killed during a campus event at Utah Valley University.
Grisly video from the scene shows Kirk taking a single shot to the neck and slumping in his chair.
The suspect has not yet been identified.

I have asked several times of various sources why ANTIFA has not been classified as a terrorist organization, which they are. Never received an answer. The irony of an organization naming itself as an anti-fascist organization when they are in fact the epitome of fascism.
Anti-fascist messages on a Fascist rifle. That’s cute. Just another Dem wit who doesn’t recognize the national socialist Democrat Party for what it is.
Presuming that this is indeed the murder weapon there ‘should’ be forensic evidence on it. Time will tell if such evidence does exist and if it can provide linkage to the shooter.
Wait, the left keeps claiming that if ALL guns (except those that are confiscated) are ‘registered’ it should be an easy task to track him down.
