Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump’s plans to transform an uninhabited Albanian island into a luxury resort destination are running into growing opposition from environmental activists, local residents, and government critics who accuse officials of prioritizing foreign investment over conservation.

The project, which would be on Sazan Island off Albania’s southern coast, would involve approximately $1.6 billion in development and create a sprawling luxury resort featuring more than 10,000 hotel rooms. While supporters see the investment as a potential economic boon, opponents have staged demonstrations across the country, warning that the project could permanently alter.

A decorated Army veteran turned whistleblower exposes explosive allegations inside Biden’s ATF. Madison Cawthorn reenters the political arena, citing the assassination of conservative icon Charlie Kirk as his call to action. And in downtown Miami, Florida leaders greenlight a $66 million site for the Trump Presidential Library — a monument to legacy, power, and narrative control.

“Worse Than Baghdad” — Whistleblower Takes on Biden’s ATF

A whistleblower war is unfolding inside the Biden administration, and the allegations are explosive.

Afolabi Siwajuola, a U.S. Army veteran and former ATF employee, says the federal agency retaliated against him for exposing illegal hiring practices and deliberate misclassification schemes within the Biden-era Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.

Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA), chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee, has demanded the DOJ and ATF cease all retaliation immediately — and open a full investigation.

Siwajuola, who served in Baghdad, told Grassley’s staff that the climate of fear and retaliation he endured inside the ATF was “on the same level, and some days worse than Iraq.” He claims top ATF officials pressured staff to approve unqualified applicants, particularly those with inside connections, while threatening and racially harassing those who spoke up.

ATF Director Steven Dettelbach is named directly in Siwajuola’s claims, accused of personally ordering staff to find legal grounds to fire him.

Despite enduring five years of alleged harassment, Siwajuola was honored with a 2023 Public Servant Award by the Office of Special Counsel — and may soon receive a monetary award for saving taxpayers millions.

Grassley is now urging the Trump administration to reward the whistleblower, punish the bureaucrats involved, and clean house at the agency.

Cawthorn Returns: “After Kirk’s Death, I Had No Choice”

Madison Cawthorn is running for Congress again — but this time, not in North Carolina.

The 30-year-old former congressman has declared his candidacy in Florida’s 19th District, a GOP stronghold currently vacated by Rep. Byron Donalds, who is running for governor.

The assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk was the tipping point, Cawthorn says. “After Charlie Kirk’s assassination, I knew there was really no option.”

Cawthorn, who previously served one term in the House before being ousted amid scandal, says he was “railroaded out of D.C.” by enemies on the left — and within his own party — for “telling the truth about the swamp.”

Despite past controversies involving firearms, driving violations, and allegations of political showboating, Cawthorn says he’s matured and ready to represent a coastal Florida district that includes Naples and Fort Myers — where he also spent time helping with hurricane relief.

Miami to Host Trump’s Presidential Library

In a historic move Tuesday, Gov. Ron DeSantis and Florida’s Cabinet approved the transfer of a $66 million parcel of state land in downtown Miami to the Donald J. Trump Presidential Library Foundation.

The 2.63-acre lot, which currently serves as a parking area next to the iconic Freedom Tower, will become the future home of what Eric Trump promises will be “the greatest presidential library ever built.”

“This will be one of the most beautiful buildings ever built — an icon on the Miami skyline,” Eric Trump wrote on X. The foundation has already secured tens of millions in funding through settlements with Meta and ABC News.

With local resistance anticipated, DeSantis preemptively signed a bill banning municipalities from blocking presidential library projects — a move that clears the path for construction.

Attorney General James Uthmeier called the library a fitting tribute for a president with “a great story to tell,” while Miami officials say the project will elevate the city’s global profile.
