The Charlie Kirk Show producer Blake Neff publicly confronted podcaster Candace Owens on Wednesday, sharply criticizing her for what he described as a “flood of allegations” accusing TPUSA insiders of involvement in the murder of the organization’s founder, Charlie Kirk.
Kirk was fatally shot on Septempber 10 during a TPUSA event at Utah Valley University. Authorities arrested Tyler Robinson, 22, in connection with the killing, and prosecutors say Robinson acted alone. But Owens has repeatedly claimed on social media that Kirk was “betrayed” by individuals close to him and has vowed to “name names and provide evidence” involving TPUSA leadership, foreign military actors, and alleged financial misconduct.
Neff: Owens Has “Tarred Everyone” With Accusations of Complicity
Neff, speaking on The Charlie Kirk Show, said the organization had remained publicly silent for months to avoid amplifying Owens’ claims, but could no longer do so.
“Ever since Charlie’s murder, Candace Owens has leveled a flood of allegations against people at Turning Point USA,” Neff said.
“She has effectively tarred everyone here with complicity in Charlie’s death by repeatedly saying he was ‘betrayed by everyone.’”
Neff said Owens’ assertions—including that Kirk’s closest friends were somehow involved in his murder and might kill her as well—had unleashed a wave of harassment against staff members.
“What our friends have had to endure is not funny, and it’s not insignificant. It is evil,” Neff added.
Neff Defends TPUSA’s Finances: “Every Dollar Accounted For”
Owens has also claimed TPUSA engaged in millions of dollars in financial misconduct. Neff categorically denied that.
“Charlie made sure the organization was audited by a third party every year,” he said. “He personally reviewed and signed off on every single bill paid by the organization, down to one dollar.”
He emphasized that many of Owens’ more sensational accusations—such as secret tunnels and involvement by Egyptian Air Force personnel—were so outlandish that TPUSA believed they did not merit a response.
Why TPUSA Stayed Quiet—Until Now
Neff outlined three reasons for TPUSA’s initial silence:
- The allegations appeared too implausible to take seriously.
- Kirk’s philosophy was to “not feed the trolls” and stay focused on TPUSA’s mission.
- Out of respect for Kirk’s friendship with Owens.
But with nearly three months having passed since Kirk’s killing—and Owens escalating her attacks—Neff said the organization would finally respond in a public livestream. He invited Owens to join the broadcast.
Owens Fires Back: “I’m Not a Troll”
Owens addressed Neff’s comments on her own podcast Wednesday, saying she had no personal animosity toward TPUSA.
“I’m not a troll,” she insisted. “I’m not someone who’s hated Turning Point and wanted Turning Point to fail. I’m the exact opposite of that. I’m actually the exact opposite of that, and that’s why people believe in me and trust me, because they feel I’m the only one that’s acting right in the situation.”
Owens argued that she is simply pursuing unanswered questions about Kirk’s death:
“Who wouldn’t want to have every stone unturned if they cared about somebody?”
Livestream Coming — Date Still Unknown
As of Wednesday night, TPUSA had not announced the date or format of its planned livestream response.
Robinson’s legal case remains ongoing.

I am sick of this woman and she is turning so many against the MAGA and TPUSA movement, some I considered friends. She is a dangerous liar and I have no doubt she is being paid by violent left-wing organizations. Someone should expose her truthfully, so she stops the destruction to conservative voters and entities. Oh, that Charlie could have witnessed the true nature of this Leviathan.
I used to think highly of Candace Owens, but she has fallen off the cliff and lost her marbles.
