Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) is calling for legal action against the Department of Justice (DOJ), accusing the Trump administration of refusing to fully comply with the Epstein Files Transparency Act—a bipartisan law Congress passed last month requiring the release of all federal records related to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein by Dec. 19.

Schumer argued that the administration’s partial disclosure amounts to an attempt to conceal information.
“I am introducing a resolution directing the Senate to initiate legal action against DOJ for its blatant disregard of the law in its refusal to release the complete Epstein files,” Chuck Schumer, in a statement posted on social media.
He continued:
“The American people deserve full transparency, and Senate Democrats will use every tool at our disposal to ensure they get it. This administration cannot be allowed to hide the truth.”

On Friday, the DOJ released only a portion of the required records, heavily redacted and offering little new insight into Epstein’s criminal network. The agency said further review is necessary to protect the identities of victims.
Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche, in an interview on NBC’s Meet the Press, defended the department’s decision:
“The reason why we are still reviewing documents and still continuing our process is simply that to protect victims. So the same individuals that are out there complaining about the lack of documents that were produced on Friday are the same individuals who apparently don’t want us to protect victims.”
Blanche added that the department is examining “about a million or so pages of documents” and insisted that any information relating to former President Donald Trump would not be shielded through redactions.
The documents released on Friday were heavily redacted, prompting complaints that not enough new information about Epstein’s illicit activities were made available to the public.
The bipartisan nature of the transparency effort underscores how unusual the situation is:
The Senate followed with unanimous consent, reflecting broad agreement that the public deserves clarity about one of the most controversial criminal cases in recent history.
The House approved the Epstein Files Transparency Act 427–1.

No doubt in my mind that Schumer wants to redact any democrat from the list! And will sue to make sure none are released.
Why was this so important now and not important during the Biden Presidency. It appears the only current purpose is to fill the media with sex and obscure the beneficial successes to the Trump administration. Democrats are focused and committed to not allowing any recognition of any action of the Trump Administration. They are out of poser and unable to get money for giving away the U.S. tax basis which sale is their basis of individual wealth. The Constitution indicates our government if for the benefit of the people while our congress acts only for the benefit of the congress. How does Epstein documents benefit American families who will not be required to find ways to hide promised necked pictures from their children and continue reports of who President Clinton has been screwing during the last 30 years.
