Arizona Democratic Sen. Ruben Gallego is launching an effort to challenge a new Trump Administration immigration policy that could require many green card applicants to leave the United States and complete the process abroad.

According to a report from The Hill, Gallego is not only seeking to overturn the policy itself but is also pursuing a procedural strategy that could make it easier for Congress to reverse the change.

The dispute revolves around a recent U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) policy affecting how certain immigrants obtain lawful permanent residency.

Rosie O’Donnell is taking aim at a fellow Democrat — and making it clear she has serious regrets.

In a TikTok video posted Tuesday, the longtime Trump critic reacted to the growing sexual misconduct scandal surrounding former Congressman Eric Swalwell, saying she once supported him — and now feels deeply disappointed.

“Now can we talk a little bit about Eric Swalwell?” O’Donnell said. “I know that guy. In the ‘What kind of way?’ Like, spoke to him on the phone a couple times, donated money to him, I believe. Talked about him in some public appearances years ago about how I believed in him, and his cute little family and two kids, and standing up to all those people when he, you know, berates them for their moralist behavior.”

Swalwell announced Sunday that he was suspending his campaign for California governor. By Monday, he said he would also resign from Congress as multiple allegations surfaced.

“And then all this comes out about him, and it’s heartbreaking to me,” O’Donnell said. “You know? And I wrote him. I wrote him a little message and I said, ‘You know, Bill Clinton broke my heart, and now you did too.’ You know the conclusion I’ve come to? Men suck.”

O’Donnell went further, arguing that men are often unable to control their impulses — and saying the scandal has shaken her faith in public figures altogether.

“And boy, that Eric Swalwell. You know, teaches you not to believe in anyone,” she said. “For me, that’s what it does for me. I don’t believe in anyone. People have images and they sell themselves as one thing, but they’re not that thing. They have complications like all humans do, right? They have addictions, they have impulses, they have frontal lobe disorder, they have narcissism, they have a spoiled privileged upbringing that warps their perspective.”

Swalwell is facing a string of serious accusations, including claims that he drugged and raped one woman and sexually assaulted a staffer. The allegations have triggered at least two local criminal investigations. Swalwell has denied the accusations but has acknowledged making personal “mistakes.”

The fallout marks a dramatic turn for a high-profile Democrat who once positioned himself as a moral critic of Republicans — a contrast O’Donnell herself pointed to in her remarks.

Her comments also highlight a recurring pattern in Democratic politics, where prominent figures are elevated quickly — only to face damaging scandals later.

O’Donnell, who relocated to Ireland after President Donald Trump’s 2024 election victory, has largely stayed out of U.S. public life. But she recently revealed she quietly returned to the country for two weeks earlier this year.

“I was recently home for two weeks, and I did not really tell anyone,” she said in a February interview with Chris Cuomo on “SiriusXM’s Cuomo Mornings.” “I just went to see my family. I wanted to see how hard it would be for me to get in and out of the country. I wanted to feel what it felt like. I wanted to hold my children again. And I hadn’t been home in over a year.”

She added that she wanted to ensure “that it was safe” for her and her daughter to return again this summer.
