Three people are under arrest Wednesday after allegedly stealing two truck trailers in California that contained pricey Lego products.

Jose Lopez, 37, of San Bernardino, Ruben Lopez Flores, 25, of Los Angeles and Freddy Hernandez Polinar, (35) of Chino were taken into custody after deputies from the Kern County Sheriff’s Office at the Mojave Substation responded to the block of 400 block of Silver Queen Road regarding suspicious vehicles.
When they arrived, the deputies saw two box trucks fleeing the area, according to an advisory from the Kern County Sheriff’s Office. After conducting traffic stops on both vehicles, deputies searched the trucks and found approximately $1 million worth of Lego products stolen from two freight trailers.
After completing their investigation, law enforcement determined that the two freight trailers were stolen while in transit from Fort Worth, Texas, to Moreno Valley, California.
Authorities recovered the stolen Legos, and all three men were placed under arrest for possession of a stolen vehicle, cargo theft and conspiracy.
