While speaking at a New Hampshire college this morning, former Vice President Mike Pence said he would “consider” accepting an invitation to testify before the Jan. 6 committee.
Pence’s remarks came during a Q&A session with the audience.

“If there was an invitation to participate, I would consider it,” Pence said at an event at Saint Anselm College in New Hampshire. “But you’ve heard me mention the Constitution a few times this morning. Under the Constitution, we have three co-equal branches of government. Any invitation to be directed to me, I would have to reflect on the unique role I was serving in as vice president.”
Pence said it would be “unprecedented in history for a vice president to be summoned to testify on Capitol Hill, but as I said I don’t want to pre-judge.”
“My first obligation is to continue to hold my oath, continue to uphold the framework of government enshrined in the Constitution,” Pence said.
The former vice president has been a central figure in the House committee’s work to tell the story of the weeks leading up to the Jan. 6 attack, as well as the day of the riots. The panel spent an entire public hearing detailing how former President Trump and his allies pressured Pence to reject the slate of electors from certain states to delay certification of President Biden’s electoral victory in 2020.
Pence added that the public has a right to know about what happened behind-the-scenes that day and hinted that he had included never-before-heard revelations about Jan. 6 in his upcoming memoir.

I’m disappointed that Mike has not educated himself on the real story about the on-going criminal activities of the Federal Government which began prior to the 2016 election and continues to this day.
Yes, the Democrat Party tried to steal the 2016 election, are surely trying to alter the 2022 midterm elections and are working to use the FBI and Justice departments and the Deep State to fix the 2024 election to prevent the people’s choice from being elected.

Interesting….he’s all in to tell tell about Jan 6th…but to question a fraudulent election….not so much…never did trust Pence….really pretty irrelevant during his VP term… he’s no match for Trump…unless you want milktoast for a president….bleah
Fine. Let’s wait and see whether (and if so, how) he uses his testimony to stab his former boss in the back. My pal from Indiana once told me how as Governor he was a typical unreliable politician speaking out of both sides of his mouth.
He can do what he wants, but remember he is volunteering for a committee without the defense being involved. Like weaponizing the DOJ and FBI against a political opponent. He will never be President once he takes the Cheney step!

Pence had his chance to make a stand, and he bombed. He will be completely forgotten in 10 more years.

Something tells me that Mike’s memoire will be a different remembrance than what we remember. We are going to remember how he presided over the theft of the 2020 election and gave it his stamp of approval without any hesitation. Then he trounced Trump and his supporters who were victimized by a trap set at the capital where he sided with the true insurrectionists in the Congress and capital bureaucracy. He doesn’t have a prayer of winning any election ever but he will mess up anyone else’s chances just to be sure he has thoroughly destroyed America.
