Eric Sorenson, a Democrat nominee for U.S. Congress in a closely-watched Illinois race, was on the board of a left-wing organization that promoted a notorious pornographic book to children.
Sorenson even defended giving explicit porn to children as an act of “intellectual freedom.”
Beginning in 2019, Sorenson was a member of the board of directors for “Clock, Inc.,” which promoted the controversial children’s’ book “Gender Queer,” Breitbart and the National Republican Congressional Committee report.
“Gender Queer,” aimed at children and placed in middle school libraries by Sorenson and other liberal activists, includes pornographic and explicit illustrations of a man performing oral sex on another man, masturbating and using sex toys. Sorensen publicly attacked parents who questioned schools’ decision to give kids pornographic books.
Breitbart reports Sorensen went on a Facebook warpath, declaring he “can’t believe in 2022 we are back to banning books.”
“Protecting children is commendable motivation, but this is hardly about that. It’s about restricting intellectual freedom,” Sorenson wrote. (RELATED: School Board President Tells Kids Who Won’t Wear Masks to ‘Not Return’)
Sorenson also defended the book in other public forums.
“Books are being banned… You know what we’re going to do here in the state of Illinois, we’re going to be able to say we reject that,” Breitbart reports Sorenson told a Human Rights Campaign event.
Sorenson faces Republican nominee Esther Joy King for the U.S. House seat of Democrat Cheri Bustos, who is retiring.
Donald Trump twice won a narrow majority in the northwestern Illinois district while voters also reelected Congresswoman Bustos (D). The race is rated as a “toss-up” by most observers.

They don’t care about you kids or even their own. Government has a pedophile in office and they joyously go along with whatever they’re told to do. Why, because they’re all sick evil people. Even most of the Republicans are, or they’d od stopped what’s going on long before it got stared.
