President Joe Biden has inked a deal to get minerals for so-called “green energy” programs from mines in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and Zambia, even though those nations use child slave labor in the mines and while banning such mining in the United States.
“Secretary of State Antony Blinken entered into the agreement [Dec. 13,] signing a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the two nations and lauding their work improving the electric vehicle battery supply chain,” Fox News reports.
“Green energy technologies like electric vehicle batteries, solar panels and wind turbines require a massive expansion of cobalt, copper, lithium, nickel, graphite, zinc and other mineral production,” Fox News reports. “In 2021, the DRC alone mined more than 70% of the global supply of cobalt, while the U.S. mined just 0.4%, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The DRC also has an estimated 3.5 million metric tons of cobalt reserves, the largest amount in the world.”
Under Biden’s deal, much of those minerals would be mined by child slave labor. UNICEF estimates 40,000 children work in the DRC’s cobalt mines, Fox News reports.
Even the Biden administration admits, in an October report, the mines rely on child slaves.
A 2016 Amnesty International report tells the horrific stories of child slaves forced to work in “green energy” mines.
“Many children we spoke to told us that they were frequently ill. Inhaling cobalt dust can cause hard metal lung disease — a potentially fatal condition,” the report finds. “Skin contact with cobalt can cause dermatitis — a chronic rash. Yet the children and other miners have neither masks nor gloves to protect them.”
“The children told us that they endured long hours — up to 12 hours a day — working at the mines hauling back-breaking loads of between 20 and 40kg for US$1-2 per day,” Amnesty International further reports. “Many had nothing to eat all day. Fourteen-year-old Paul, who began mining aged 12 and worked underground, told us he would often ‘spend 24 hours down in the tunnels. I arrived in the morning and would leave the following morning.’”
A 2018 CBS News investigation also found child slaves poisoned by the toxic heavy metals that power “green energy.”
“At barely 10 years old, children lug heavy sacks of cobalt to be washed in rivers. From as early as four, they can pick it out of a pile,” CBS News reported.
“Even those too young to work — dust-covered infants clinging to their mothers and playing on the dirty ground — spend much of the day breathing in toxic fumes,” they reported.
The deal, part of Biden’s plan to funnel billions of tax dollars into unproven “climate change” scheme, is being slammed by advocates of American jobs, who note many of the minerals are available in the United States, but mining for them is banned by the very environmentalists.
“It’s egregious that the Biden administration would enter into an MOU to mine critical minerals in the Congo, where we know they use child slave labor to mine these minerals and they have almost zero labor standards and almost zero environmental standards,” Congressman Pete Stauber (R-Minn.) tells Fox News.
“And yet this administration will not allow mining in the United States,” said Stauber.

Joe Rogan, on his podcast “The Joe Rogan Experience” episode #1914, which aired on Dec. 22, 2022, interviewed Siddharth Kara, an expert on modern slavery, it was incredibly revelatory and disturbing regarding cobalt mining, which presents a host of ethical and human rights issues…
Did anyone really expect any other kind of outcome? This isn’t about cobalt, or even child labor in some other country. This is about Marxists destroying America. Biden is in that effort up to his neck which should be stretched at the end of rope for treason before too much longer. Enough is enough, anyone owing allegiance to some other ideology or another country or not fulfilling their oath of office like Biden and countless other, democratic socialists, Marxists, progressives, communists, that permeate our government and academia. The United States needs the biggest purge of traitors any country has ever seen and soon. The greatest war this country has ever fought will be over the disease brought by these traitors to America and at the rate we are going, it is right around the corner. No body knows what tne new green deal is, massive spending, taaxes, borrowing, and run away spending.
EVs are not really green. The mining of resources to manufacture them and the burning of fossil fuels for recharging their batteries means that they are no cleaner than internal combustion vehicles. The push for them proves that man made climate change is a hoax.

Fallen soldiers are the child slave labor in those mines fighting the war to ‘save the planet’. The green energy crowd are the pompous, intellectually deficient breed that submit children to being slaves while they reap the glory and/or monetary gains of ‘saving the planet’ while their children are safely tucked away on private estates, attend private schools,and travel the world while staying in luxury resorts for the most elitist and richest of the world. Lest we forget. In 2016, an investment firm co-founded by Hunter Biden orchestrated the sale and control of a large Congolese cobalt mine from an American company to a Chinese mining conglomerate. This was done while his father Joe Biden was VP during the very arrogant and duplicitous two-term President Barack Obama and his unscrupulous and under-handed administrations.
December 2022, the Biden/Harris administration has Secretary of State Anthony Blinken sign an MOU with two nations with the intention to get minerals for so-called “green energy” programs from Congolese and Zambia mines. Congolese and Zambia mines that utilize child slave labor while banning such mining in the U.S.

Under the green energy heroes like Biden, Harris, Blinken, Buttigieg, and the British family as well as many others committed to ‘save the planet’ and attend the UN Climate Change Conference, the red blood of 40,000 children have fallen into child slave labor. Lest we forget the shame of green energy heroes.
Sounds like Biden is in favor of child slave labor. If he was against it he wold not ave signed the agreement to buy those minerals from those countries. Seems Biden does ot care for anyone unless it enriches his family. He sure does not care for US Citizens. Illegals are more important to him. Here, he encourages child slave labor.
