Outlets from across the political spectrum are reporting that Nikki Haley is going to announce she’s running for president.
It’s no longer a question of if but when.
During the Trump administration, Haley served as the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations. Her tenure was widely regarded as a success, even by some of Trump’s critics.
In 2011, she became South Carolina’s first Indian-American and female governor. Haley served as governor for six years before joining the Trump administration.
Charleston, South Carolina’s daily newspaper, The Post and Courier, reports a formal announcement by Haley will come on Feb. 15.
Reaction from the political class has poured in on Twitter:
"It could be a very narrow field depending on how people raise the money and get their messaging out."

Nikki Haley is running because she is one of a dozen Republicans who has even a remote shot at getting the nom. Maybe the only woman. If you had a teeny chance of becoming the most powerful person on the planet you would probably run, too.

.@NikkiHaley is a full-spectrum conservative that can appeal to independent and suburban Democratic voters. She's tough, smart, and she was an effective conservative governor who built uncommon coalitions to get results. NO ONE would make a better first female president. https://t.co/EodhtRm748

Haley is a turncoat, wishy-washy and washed up RINO. And HATED big time in her home state of SC.
Haley should save her time and money. She has NO CHANCE.
