Nebraska Governor Jim Pillen was joined in Lincoln Tuesday afternoon by a number of Senators from the state’s unicameral legislature as he cemented the Cornhusker state as the 27th one in the nation where constitutional carry is the law of the land.
Signing LB77 upholds the promise I made to voters to protect our constitutional rights and promote commonsense, conservative values. I appreciate the work of those senators who supported this legislation, and particularly that of Sen. Brewer who led and carried LB77 to the end. pic.twitter.com/iH8wjuoZoS

LB77 passed through Nebraska’s unicameral legislature last Wednesday with the minimum number of votes needed, a final roll call vote of 33 Yea votes to 14 Nay votes.

With Pillen’s signature, Nebraska will become America’s 27th constitutional carry state in either late August or early September of 2023, 90 days after the end of the legislative session.
