Support Joe Collins for Congress!Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) continues to face backlash from within her own party for participating in a conference organized by a white supremacist who encouraged a chant supporting authoritarian Russian leader Vladimir Putin.
But that wasn’t all.
The event, America First Political Action Conference (AFPAC), was organized by Nick Fuentes, who has a long history of making racist and anti-Semitic remarks. Formally the host of the America First podcast, Fuentes rose to prominence after attending the deadly Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville, Virginia in 2017.
Greene later downplayed her participation at AFPAC, saying that she didn’t know who the organizers were or what they stood for.
Her excuse for accepting an invitation from a prominent white supremacist didn’t calm frustrated Republican leaders.
Besides Greene, other controversial members of the GOP spoke at Fuentes’ event.
Responding to the news, Sen. Mitch McConnell told The Washington Post “there’s no place in the Republican Party for white supremacists or anti-Semitism.”
House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy shared a similar statement, noted Business Insider:
“For me it was appalling and wrong. And there’s no place in our party for any of this,” said McCarthy. “The party should not be associated any time any place with somebody who is anti-Semitic.”
Sen. Mitt Romney was more direct regarding the politically radioactive situation on CNN’s Sunday morning show “State of the Union,” saying “Morons. I’ve got morons on my team.”
The latest fallout from Greene’s appearance came earlier this week when Trump-endorsed GOP Senate candidate Herschel Walker backed out of a planned event with the congresswoman.

I have a few words for these Republicans which are in some cases rino’s, apparently you dipsticks didn’t watch the video I just did go watch it. At least representative Green knows you need first hand intelligence so you can counter bad policy, instead of just stumbling along in your bad policy and not knowing it. no I am not a white supremist or any of that stupid crap I consider myself a good republican and an unapologetic Trump supporter, and if all you dipstick republicans would have stood behind a good president when we had one we would probably still have him as President without this crazy inflation and high gas prices. I am paying 3 times as much for a tank of fuel as I was 2 years ago. Think of the poor people in the north of the country that use heating oil to heat their homes. In my opinion it is republican house and senate members fault. In case you are wandering what dipstick means consider what a dipstick does, check fluid levels is all and nothing else.
Now your opinion is yours and you are welcome to it, one fact in evidence is that the Republican party since trump is now only about 1/3 of the voting population in this USA and outnumbered by Democratic voters by over 13 Million registered voters, with Independent voters leaning Democrat 60% of the time. When Trump could not beat Hillary as horrible as she was in the popular vote in 2016 and they thought Trump could win in 2020 just because of the size of his rallies. The fact is that this inflation was predicted while Trump was still in office, mainly because every element was in place for high inflation, low demand , people with a lot of money because they were not spending it during the pandemic, it was forecast as soon as the economy opened up we would have high inflation no matter who was in office. Just look at the 1980 Inflation much worse than the one today and look at what caused it, and what brought inflation under control.
I agree 100 % we are damn tired of politicaly dumb people in our Gov. we will do everying we can if you won’t standup out you go.
I would take it as no surprise that this woman has always been a person of poor decision making like a lot of others, just get anyone you can on your side no matter how against what this USA stands for, just to get them to vote for you to stay in power.
Greene has shown she doesn’t have the intellectual sophistication needed to be an effective representative. I’m not bashing her intentions but she has shown time and again a serious lack of judgment. We need strong self-controlled people representing us who can guide the country back toward fiscal responsibility, conservative common sense domestic policies, fix our broken public education system, really secure our borders, and lead in international affairs. We have enough flakes on the Democrat side of the aisle. We certainly don’t need them in the Republican Party. And yea, I’m including all the Rinos like Mitt and Liz in the flake list.

The answer to Mitch McConnell get your a** out of the way if your to timid to speak the truth you have no place in the Repub. party. you have spent your worthless time in our goverment all you have done is pad your pockets at our expense. Any Repubs. unwilling to speake out we the voters will kick your butt out.

Rather have a moron like Biden who forgot to run, still won and is still surprised. Likely to forget his own name tomorrow. And just as a matter of record, most of the House Progressive Caucus members are seen and associate with commies all the time. They are commies and none of you seem to care. How bout the guy that trolls us with Trump couldn’t beat Hilary in the popular vote. Sorry, Charlie, we don’t have a popular vote for president. Now, you and your ilk just let another 2 million potential democrat voters in to the country to make sure no Republican can win the “popular” vote. Thank God the founders were smart enough to foresee the likes of you and thwart your evil plans.
