THE DAY AHEAD:
As we look behind to the last few months, and ahead to the upcoming second anniversary of Covid-19 lockdowns, we must ask the question: Where is Dr. Fauci?
While he was at the center of the pandemic for the last couple of years, during both the Trump and Biden administration, the doctor now seems to be missing in action. According to the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, his last media appearance was on February 23 with Bloomberg News, and he has not made major cable hits since February 17.
As the Daily Caller reported,
In the month of December alone, Fauci did 22 interviews or appearances with major national news outlets or programs — from Rachel Maddow’s MSNBC show to Neil Cavuto’s program on Fox Business to a sit-down with The Atlantic. In January and February combined, he made only 15 such appearances. So far in March, he’s made zero.
Of course, big events like the Russia-Ukraine war are stealing his screen time, however, there are still questions to be asked. Recent Covid-19 legislation from states and recommendations from the CDC have shifted against mask-mandates and even vaccines.
One would assume Fauci would be at the center of the media storm; however, he no longer is and other doctors are taking his place, hopefully for the better.
Although Covid-19 has left the media spotlight, it continues to fester as a political issue. In their quest for civil liberties, Republican lawmakers are proposing an ultimatum: vote against Biden’s vaccine mandate or we won’t oppose a government shutdown. Although one of the administration’s mandates failed, a requirement for medical workers, military personnel, and federal staff remain.
In a letter, 39 House Republicans led by Texas Rep. Chip Roy to Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell and House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy said,
While some will say the escalating situation in Ukraine justifies ignoring the tyranny of vaccine mandates to ensure funding of defense, the fact is Americans – including our troops – continue to suffer. It is particularly troubling for the President to ask thousands of these troops to amass in Eastern Europe while simultaneously finger-wagging at them to get a politicized vaccine or be fired.
Meanwhile, everyday Americans are continuing to take a courageous stand against intrusive policies. In an effort to un-mask over 60,000 students, a Tennessee non-profit is suing the Board of Education.
The organization is being represented by Harmeet Dhillion’s legal team. She said,
“The school district has been ordered by a judge to enforce this mandate at the behest of four parents who feel justified in holding tens of thousands of students, teachers and administrators hostage,”
Over a year later, we’re continuing to look back at the 2020 election in an attempt to clear the air before the 2022 elections, and sooner than later our next shot at the presidency in 2024.
New reports have identified criminal activity within Wisconsin and Mississippi after audits and investigations into election fraud. According to the Federalist,
Mark Zuckerberg poured millions into a nonprofit called the Center for Tech and Civic Life in 2020. That nonprofit then gave more than $350 million in private funds to elections offices around the country.
The funds were intended to assist with the so-called “safe administration” of elections amid Covid-19. Furthermore, Zuckerberg and Priscilla Chan’s financing allowed the Center for Tech and Civic Life to provide nearly $9 million in “Zuck Bucks” to Milwaukee, Madison, Racine, Kenosha, and Green Bay counties. In exchange, the “Zuckerberg 5,” as the report called the counties, operated Democratic get-out-the-vote efforts. Those grant funds then paid for illegal drop boxes to be placed in Democratic voting strongholds.
The findings identify illegal activity within the election, which may lead to more security surrounding upcoming races.
One last thing:
There may be a glitter of hope on the horizon for the Golden State. With Republican candidates preparing to face liberal elite Gavin Newsom this year, the state is reassessing its voter base and potential for a red wave.
Top issues in the state include Covid-19 policies which led to attacks on religious liberty, mask and vaccine mandates, and even critical race theory in schools. Candidates like Anthony Trimino are addressing these concerns and pinpointing the voters they impact the most.
I think there’s an awakening happening within the Latino communities, where they’re realizing they’re being forced to redefine their political values, and I think they’re asking themselves the questions that are truly necessary to understand how to vote. I think they’re finding they’re a lot more conservative.
Trimino also ran for governor during the recall election.
In their latest skit, Fox News hosts Tucker Carlson and Laura Ingraham are hosting a fundraiser for Putin with former President Donald Trump.
