Arizona Democratic Sen. Ruben Gallego is launching an effort to challenge a new Trump Administration immigration policy that could require many green card applicants to leave the United States and complete the process abroad.
According to a report from The Hill, Gallego is not only seeking to overturn the policy itself but is also pursuing a procedural strategy that could make it easier for Congress to reverse the change.
The dispute revolves around a recent U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) policy affecting how certain immigrants obtain lawful permanent residency.
The two Las Vegas teenagers caught on camera running over a retired police chief reacted appallingly to the victim’s family in court.
This time, a camera recorded Jesus Ayala, 18, and Jzamir Keys, 16, laughing and giving the widow of the man they stand accused of intentionally killing the middle finger.
Ayala’s arrest report states he showed no remorse after being charged with murdering Andreas “Andy” Probst, 64. Alleged cellphone footage from Keys shows Ayala sideswiping another vehicle before hitting Probst, who was on an early morning bike ride.
Ayala and Keys were also allegedly involved in a hit-and-run on another cyclist.
Probst died after being struck by a car while riding his bicycle down a highway, which police believe was intentionally done by Ayala and Keys in August.
Probst daughter Taylor told KSNV after the hearing: ‘These guys did not respect the court whatsoever. They were just d*****g around the entire time.’

New video released by a local court on Monday allegedly shows the teens laughing and intentionally striking the 72-year-old man.
That victim suffered a significant injury to his knee but survived.
Amid their laughter, the pair entered not-guilty pleas in court to a litany of felony charges, including murder and grand larceny. In addition to the multiple hit-and-runs, police say the pair stole three cars and committed multiple burglaries in a two-hour window.
Ayala initially believed that he wouldn’t be in custody for long, telling officers, “You think this juvenile [expletive] is gonna do some [expletive]? I’ll be out in 30 days, I’ll bet you.”
The Clark County District Attorney’s Office has since charged both defendants as adults.
Their trial has been scheduled for Sept. 16, 2024.
