A nationwide survey suggests that only 20% of voters will vote for former President Donald Trump if he is convicted of any of the felonies he’s currently facing.
The Ipsos/Reuters survey found the vast majority of Republican primary voters consider the 91 charges against Trump politically motivated. A majority of registered voters believe Trump is guilty of at least some charges. At the same time, they consider him better able to address the economy and crime.
The survey has Trump and Biden tied nationally at 48%. It includes responses from 4,677 registered voters and has a margin of error of 1.5 points.

While Trump maintains a narrow national lead over Biden in the RealClearPolitics polling average, previously polls have indicated that there could be a significant change if Trump becomes a felon. It is yet to be seen whether swing voters would alter their voting preferences in such a scenario.
Conversely, the latest national poll, from Harvard-Harris, gives Trump a 6-point lead.
