CHICAGO, IL – In the early hours of a Friday morning, a domestic dispute in Chicago’s South Shore neighborhood escalated, leading to the fatal shooting of a 39-year-old man by a 34-year-old woman.
According to Chicago Sun-Times, during the argument, the woman, who is a licensed concealed carry holder, shot a man in her home. The man sustained a critical gunshot wound to the torso. He was promptly transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead. Authorities have since recovered a firearm at the scene and are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
